Meanwhile, Nathan and Steve had arrived at the hospital's emergency room and proceeded immediately to the intake desk. The waiting room was filled almost to overflowing with both on and off-duty police officers that had heard about or were present for the disaster and had come to support their injured teammates.
Nathan presented his badge and ID and said, "We're here to check on all of the law enforcement officers injured from tonight's house explosion."
The nurse checked his credentials, then nodded.
"We’ve got six casualties total that were brought in, and all of them are being treated by different physicians, Agent Thomas," she revealed. "Let me see if I can find Dr. Manning for you. He's the head of emergency medicine, and he should be able to tell you about each patient's condition
