CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
When Lizzie finally called Donny to come pick her up, he asked, "So I guess it went well?"
"Very well. I'll tell you all about it when I see you. Speaking of which, how far away are you?"
"Be there in the next fifteen minutes."
When Donny pulled up Lizzie got in the SUV and immediately dialed Nathan's number.
"How's it going in Lubbock?" she asked when he picked up the call.
"It went well. Got some more data from Dr. Overtin, then went to walk the site where Toby Bryton was found. After that I talked to the folks at the police department about his abandoned truck, and now, I'm heading to Amarillo for the interview with Toby's family. How are things in San Angelo?"
