I was nervous as well as excited. Now we were going to be celebrating our love at long last. My heart felt so joyful that it might burst I was so happy. I soon spot Mark in the club there with his new lady Dina. What was he doing here? On my first official real date with Jesse to. Was he kidding me?
I groan.
Vicki looked up at me.
"Skyler what is wrong?" she questions me.
I scrunch down in my chair. Trying to make it where Mark could not spot me.
"My exboyfriend is here with his new girl" I whisper to her.
"Oh my" she gasps.
I nod. "I hope not to run into them" I sigh.
"I hope not either. What are the odds" she groans.
I nod. Oh well. Mark had to have known I was going to be here tonight to support Jesse. Maybe he was here to cause drama. To try to make me jealous with Dina. I watch him ordering something for Dina. It was not working. I was happy to be with Jesse. And I did not want Mark back. Not at all.
I would miss his friendship.
And his daughter to.
I get up to go to the ladies room. The loud music fills the air. Jesse's voice was around everywhere. I loved hearing the energetic voice of his. He really brought it to the beat. I loved him. I hum along with him as I head in the bathroom. I wash my hands after I go. Then I look in the mirror to get ready for my man.
"I hear Jesse has a lady he brought with him" some girl was saying to another.
"Man really?" groans some other random girl that was with her.
"Yes, he has a girlfriend" says the girl.
"That Rebecca?" asks the other.
"No some new chick" mutters the girl.
Flame goes to my cheekbones to overhear these two women talking about me here in the ladies room. They were jealous that I was here at the club tonight with Jesse. Though I could not say that I blamed them for being jealous. Jesse was something alright. I loved the man.
I smile as I place my red lipstick back in my purse before heading out of the bathroom. I bump into someone.
"Oh sorry" they say. "Skyler?"
"Mark?" I stammer.
"Small world" he tells me.
"You knew I was going to be here" I grumble.
"No, my new lady wanted to see the band. She liked the Rippers. She has no idea I knew Jesse and yourself. I am sorry. This was the last place in the world I wanted to go" he mutters. He looked sincere.
"Bummer. Have a good time either way. Good music and great food" I mention.
"I guess" he grumbles.
"How are you?" I ask. "I am sorry about things and how we turned out" I tell him.
"I am fine. It worked out. I really like Dina. We are a better fit" he tells me.
"Good to hear that! I am glad" I answer.
I spot Jesse getting off the stage. He must be looking for me.
"I better get going. Bye" I say as I excuse myself.
"What is he doing here?" Jesse asks me when he arrives beside me.
He had saw me talking with Mark, lovely.
"Mark is here on a date" I tell him. "Apparently the date wants to see your band" I giggle.
"Really? Is she hot?" he jokes.
I slug him in the arm. "Jess" I groan.
"Sorry" he laughs.
He pulls me in his arms. "I am officially done. We can go home. The girls will be in bed. Want to spend the night with me?" he asks me. "I hate waking up in a bed alone"
I feel a shiver of delight hearing his words. "I would love to" I answer.
He plants a kiss on my lips. "Great" he adds.
"Tell me one thing?" I ask.
"What?" he asks me.
"Does this provide breakfast in bed after?" I tease playfully.
"Of course, it does baby" he vows.
He kisses me.
We leave the club after saying goodbye to everyone. I hop back on the bike with him. Then we ride on off into town. We stop for a drink at the coffee house. He buys me a little dessert to. Then we stop beside my place so I can get my overnight things. And then off to the Tanner's we go.
The girls were asleep when we got home. I never had saw the Tanner home to be so quiet in my life before. It was odd to me. Odd but nice. I sneak up to Jesse's room. Then he locks the door behind us. We polish off the dessert he bought me and enjoy our ice coffee drinks he got as well.
"Having fun?" he questions me.
I nod. "I am having the best night with you" I vow.
"Me to. I did not want this night to end for us" he agrees.
He scoots closer on the bed with me. He pulls me in his arms. Then kisses me.
I melt into him.
"Jess? I saw Skyler come in. Want to watch a movie with me?" Joey asks as he knocks on Jesse's door.
"No thanks" calls out Jesse.
"Are you sure?" he asks us.
"Sure, we are sure! Bye!" I call back.
Jesse laughs. "Where were we?" he asks me.
"Right here" I tease as I plant a kiss on him.
"Have mercy!" he jokes playfully.
I make the first move. My hands sneak up his shirt. As I remove his jacket and shirt. Showing off that beautiful bare chest of his. I loved feeling his smooth warm flesh under my fingers.
