I felt a lot better about Jesse now. And less worried about Becky. Jess and I sure were having fun making up. I had bought myself a book. One that was going to make me a more confident woman. And it would really impress Jess. I would be less clinging. And trust in him more. It was a self help kind of book. I needed it. For my inner being.
I was working at the hair salon that afternoon there in the mall. Not at the main shop. I was on break having my lunch as I did I read my book. I over hear my boss talking to someone.
I glance over to see my boss with a very good looking man. Who looked to be about my age. He was well dressed. When they got closer I could hear them talk. The man had a French accent.
