Demanding the Truth

MOIRA As soon as I had heard the name that came out of Karielle's mouth, I started seeing red. My Lycan, Zara, wanted nothing but blood. She was so caught up in rage, she didn't care to see everyone staring at her and waiting to see what her reaction would be. Jenny is literally a dead woman walking, just like I had told Karielle. there is no coming back from this for her. I won't stop until I have her head caught in a guillotine, strutting her around so everyone around us can see what happens if they ever go as far as to betray us like she has. There's no forgiveness, no plan, that sorry b***h is mine. My time with her will be worthwhile, regardless of our relationship in the past. That doesn't matter now, and it won't save her from my bare hands. Especially my Lycan, she's overprotective of her family. "What's wrong, mother?" Karielle asks after seeing how quiet and angry I had become, and I cannot answer right away. I have to let my blood pressure come down a bit, before I go on a rampage trying to look for this sadistic wolf I so badly want to cower in a corner in front of me. "I'm fine, Kari. The thing is, the woman you just envisioned is someone I would have trusted with my life. She's been closer to me than any other pack member, and now she's gonna regret the day she betrayed us. Her name will be written in blood, and she will be the monarch of example to show people just how much they'll f**k up by going against the BloodStar pack. She made her grave the day she sold us out, and I know it was her, because how else would she have gotten away with kidnapping you right under our noses? She's also the only one who knew our layout of defenses, and she did this on purpose. I don't know what to think about her anymore. All I know is she's a fake despicable slut. She didn't do this alone, but she was the catalyst for it all, and you guys know I'm right?!" I question. "She had help." Daxton intervenes, and I know he's correct on that assumption. "The woman who abused me, I know she's in on it. I remember that day like no other when I was brought before her, and backhanded across my face, so hard that I was knocked unconscious, all because I had bitten the bad witch to try and get away but I failed miserably. I was only but a misinformed child." Karielle said sadly, her eyes going to her hands while she anxiously picked at her fingernails. "Karielle, I know you couldn't expect much. You were only 5 years old, after all." Sebastian spoke to her in a soft voice. "We will have our revenge, and anyone who dares to challenge that will be given their own death as well. We aren't rumored to be the most gruesome protective pack for nothing." Sebastian smirked, and I had to smile at the strong husband I had. He has really thick skin, and no matter what happens. If it's against us, he has no hesitation to kill anyone in our way. "Wait.. I remember. Why am I remembering now after all this time. Something has to be wrong, right?" Karielle asks, and I have no idea how to answer her question because I'm unsure, until a thought comes to mind. "Kar, do you think you had a spell placed over you? I mean that would explain your sudden vision." I answer, and she rubbed her hand against the bottom of her chin. "I mean, that makes sense considering it's happened alot more since Luna Margaret left." She blurted, and my eyes went wide. "Luna Margaret?! Isn't that the vile woman that just had dinner with us a few months ago?" I questioned her, and Daxton nodded his head in her place. He was here that day, so I'm sure he remembers it all quite well. "Daxton, do you recall how Luna Margaret was acting skiddish, or awkward?" I asked him, and he shook his head yes. "I knew there was something off that day, I wonder what the issue was before all of this came about." I stated, Daxton looking like he wanted to speak up and say something. I move my eyes back to him, awaiting his response if he decided to come forth. "Well, I know why now. I found my brother, your Majesties." He revealed, Sebastian and I gripping our mouths with our hands, not hiding the surprise that we suddenly found ourselves smothered in. "What! Your brother?! How could that be?" Sebastian questions Daxton, awaiting an in depth response. We were his parent's best friends, so I believe we're entitled to know a little more. "The day I had left here, I went to meet with Alpha Christian at the White Witch's house. That's the day I met Karielle, but right before that, something had happened that left the younger Alpha that was the son to the two visiting wolves the day I was here. The Alpha son of the two, had to go to the hospital. I'm not sure what happened, but it had to be more serious considering the conversation of him being there for days, although Im not sure what had happened. The day we were at Laverne's abode, I left with Karielle to visit him in the hospital, and felt it necessary to accommodate her with everything we had heard was going on through the white witch. When we got to the hospital, I had suddenly requested blood work of myself to have it compared to Emile's, and it came back a suspecting positive match, to me anyway because I had this weird feeling within my Lycan wolf. I knew it would, because I had a gut feeling the day I visited amongst the three of them. But that's not all... Have you heard anything about my father's brother?" Daxton asked, and Sebastian and I were shocked at the news. The baby is alive! We had never suspected as good of an outcome, thinking he may have perished with his parents or been used for something else. I'm so glad none of our theories had rang true. "Your uncle perished in the war trying to protect our packs." Sebastian answered him, and I shook my head with a crooked smile while looking back to him. "Well, that's not true. Because my uncle is very much alive." He proclaimed, and Sebastian almost fainted at his words. "Alive? There's no possible way. We literally watched him take his last breath in the lot of our castle, after we had just defeated Sasha." I Iterated, before he looked down and moved his head back up to look straight in my eyes. "Well then, tell that to Dr. Morris, who said Alpha Christian is my uncle." He revered, and I couldn't help but be confused at his augmentation. "His DNA matched mine and Emile's, and with the percentage, he is definitely an uncle to us just as conclusive as the results found on Emile being my long lost brother. Trust me, I was just as dumbfounded, but D.n.a doesn't lie, just like I was told." He finished, Sebastian and I taking in his revelation, but it's so hard to believe considering we witnessed everything that day of the war. Daxton's father, Collin, had barely escaped a sword through his heart from a vampire fighting for the dark witch. Instead, his brother, Leo, had stood in the way to save his brother, killing himself to protect his brother. I can't believe what I'm hearing right now. As we're sitting here thinking about the events of the last year, everything has been so crazy. "We don't have much time left, we have to begin our next accomplishments." Karielle suddenly stood up, her eyes switching from a bright glowing purple to a pink midnight color. I could tell something was happening back and fourth, as it seemed her wolf was interfering, in and out. "Are you doing okay, Kar?" I ask her, and she seems to be struggling with herself. She shakes her head as if to get rid of any extra turmoil or thoughts she had running through her head, and turns her eyes to me. "When do we start training?" She wonders out loud. "Tomorrow." Sebastian blatantly answers. "Tomorrow begins your training, we need to be prepared. Especially with figuring out the powers you seem to have." He coincides, and Karielle looks at him blankly. "Powers? I know I'm not normal with everything that has been happening to me lately, but as far as being powerful? I don't know how to absorb that." She uttered, not understanding that we could apparently see more than she could. "People have said my eyes glow, I have visions, hell, even I can make random things move or stop a whole room where it sits." She asserts, before we have to break reality to her. "Kari, you're special, and you need to start acting like it. You're so strong, your power more unbelievable than knowing someone exists with more than one species in their D.N.A. You're not special in that way. You're the chosen set forth by the moon goddess. Not only are you her real daughter, even though you're mine too, You're the solution to bringing the Realm together. Do you understand the dire situation that comes along with that?!" I tell her, and she doesn't even seem phased at my rant. "Karielle, with you being chosen, the realm depends on you. Rather our success or downfall, it all depends on you and those behind you, that includes us. If we fail, we lose to the darkness and our species will no longer be living. If we win, we reunite the Realm all over again, and people can love who they want and live in a different world, where everyone gets along and can work together. Starting with your cousin, Alarah." I reveled to her, and she seemed to be deep in thought before responding. "We will do what we need, regardless of my life. I was brought here for a reason, and it shows more everyday. Regardless of my success, the Realm will be back in once piece if I have a say so about it." She replies, before we hear the burst of a door, someone running down the corridor before throwing open the door to the salon we currently were discussing in. "Emile, Christian, what are you doing barging in here?" Moira asks. "We need to talk, and I have no patience to wait. Tell me the truth about my family." Emile demands before looking impatiently to Karielle's mate, before walking over to Daxton's form, and punching him straight in the face.
