DAXTON We all look to Moira for an explanation, Even I'm shocked and confused. Everyone thought Lycans were gone except for Moira and her husband and sister, everyone forgot about me existing once my mom and dad perished. Apparently, nothing is a surprise anymore. Karielle drops her fist to her side, calming down without any further controversy, eyes softening at her newly found aunt. "So, you really didn't know?" Karielle asks the woman with golden eyes, but she was ignored before the same woman looks to her sister Moira. "Why didn't you just tell me the truth?! You put all of our lives in danger by just not saying a damn thing!" The golden eyed lady named Milandra shouted, feeling the pain at her sister's blatant secret. As they were both having a stare off, a guy came running in the door with a worried expression on his face, talking fast. "There was a vibration that damn near shook the whole house, is everything al-..." He starts to say but doesn't finish his question, realizing the tension in the room. He paused to look for a minute, gauging the situation. "Milandra, what's this about?" He asks, looking between her and Moira. I'm assuming now this must be her mate or husband, considering how he addressed her. "This sister of mine has been lying to us all along! Why don't you tell Elliott, my dear beloved sister." She lightly chuckled in a sarcastic tone, vibrations within her voice to show the overwhelming emotions she's currently feeling. "I'm sorry, Milandra, okay! I'm f*****g sorry! Is that what you want to hear? Will that make you feel better?! I didn't know I would be questioned by my own sister at something I terribly needed her help for at the time! Especially for the protection of us all! Karielle is still my daughter, nothing changes that. I gave birth to her!!" Moira was starting to raise her voice with each word, tears collecting in her ducts, patiently waiting to fall. "What? What do you mean she's still your daughter?" The man asks, before Sebastian steps in to defend his wife. "Come on now Milandra, I'm sure there was a good reason for it. People don't just lie to the ones they love, right Moira?" He eyes his wife warily, and I'm shocked to see he didn't even know about this either. "I saved our asses. All of you!" Moira says pointing to everyone in the room. "Save me? The only part I have in this is the concern for your daughter being my mate!" I say out loud, and everyone looks to me, suddenly dropping the current subject. "She found her mate already?! Goddess, what did we miss?!" Milandra says, shaking her head in a reminiscing manner, looking like she wanted to burst into tears at any moment. "You're not supposed to find your mate yet. When did this happen?" Moira joins in. "Let's not change the subject now." Karielle directs at her mother, still wanting an answer. "Enlighten us all, why did you lie Mother?" She says mother as if the word was forsaken. Moira takes a deep breath in, before walking over to the couch to sit, rubbing her hands over her face before answering. "I didn't have a choice! If word got out, we would all be dead! Including Karielle, this was the one thing that we CANNOT let get back to our enemies. They will kill her!" She croaks out, Milandra and Karielle tilting their head at her clarification. "So they do not know, either?" Milandra asks, looking at the ground, and I could tell she was feeling bad about her previous outburst. Same with Karielle. "If I didn't let things go the way that they did, we wouldn't even be here having this discussion right now. So please, forgive me for loving you enough to keep something from you, even when it hurt deep down." Moira said, tears now starting to stream down her rosy tinted cheeks. She wiped the tears from her eyes, before standing up again. "Now, about that mate?" She crowed. She had a painful look in her eyes, and from what I know so far, she has missed out on most of her daughter's life. "Well, I don't know. It happened quickly when I least expected it, I went for help with my situation, and he was there, and it just happened when we locked eyes." Karielle smiles before looking to me. "We haven't even had a formal meeting yet, we've just met eachother recently." She adds, and I tilt my lips at her, admiring her shy cuteness. "I've been searching for my mate for the last 4 years, and I've came up empty. Apparently, there's a reason for that. It's strange, but I'm glad it happened." I said, King Sebastian looking at me, posessiveness clear in his eyes. "You know what the deal is, right?" He asks me, and I nod my head at him. "Yes sir, I would protect her with my life. We will get to know eachother, I don't think we will want to rush into things, and we have alot to dig into and figure out before we can even get a chance to make that happen." I tell him, and he smiles at my gesture of being honest with him. "Well I'm glad I feel she has a gentleman by her side." He compliments me, and I just smiled again before looking down, shaking my head at how I'm feeling inside. I'm happy, and definitely grateful that her father approves of me. They were really close with my mom and dad after all. The Moon Goddess has her plans for sure, and everything seems to be coming full circle. Moira and Milandra start crying, and go to give eachother a hug before moving to Karielle, silently asking for permission to love her. They would be a great family, 3 strong women I think to myself, before I feel the varying vibration going off in my pocket. I reach in to pull out my phone, a number I'm not familiar with pops up on the screen. "Hello?" I answer, hearing the sound of pacing footsteps in the background of the phone. "Get to the hospital right away. You need to see this, we'll be waiting." The voice sounds off, before it suddenly hangs up, ending the call. "I don't mean to interrupt this tearful reunion, but I have to go." I tell everyone, Karielle looking up from the couch where she sat with her mother and aunt. "Alone? No, I'm going too." She stands up, before looking at Milandra and Moira. "We'll be back, and we can finish where we started then." She tells them, before they stand up, almost panicked about her leaving. "B-But why? Why so soon? We still have a story to get into, right?" Moira asks, her face scrunching up in despair, Milandra also looking for an answer. "It's important, I promise I'll protect her with everything in me. But I have to go now, I have something I desperately need to attend to." I tell them, before Karielle walks over to me, ready to follow me out the door. "Please be safe, and come back here before you do anything else." Milandra speaks, before walking over to Karielle to grab her hand. "We have a lot to make up for, all the while needing to get you prepared. Please come back in one piece. We love you." Milandra adds before placing something in Karielle's hand. She doesn't look at it right away, clasping it tightly in her fist before following me out of the door. "Daxton." Sebastian stops me. "Take care of our little girl. If you don't, I wouldn't come back here if I were you." He smirks. "Be safe, you two." He waves us off. I rush down the corridor and down the stairwell hand in hand with Karielle, getting to the hospital as quickly as possible. Once we're out front, I take a breath before opening the entrance door. Here goes nothing Shiro speaks in my thoughts, copying my own separate feelings. We walk up to the front desk "Hello, we're here to see Dr. Morris." I tell the receptionist, before she picks up her gray cord attached phone and starts dialing a number. She quickly hangs up before walking around the desk. "Right this way." She says, and we follow behind to a small room that looks like a room to store records. Dr. Morris waiting inside. "Oh come, come." He says, moving his hand to invite us in. "What is it? Do you have them?!" I question him, anxiously awaiting his answer as I feel the beads of sweat piling up on my forehead. "Yes. Yes I do. And you're not gonna believe this. Emile is the long lost young Alpha Torsney." He reveals, and I just stare in space. I've been waiting for an answer for so long, and I finally got what I've been looking for, in all aspects of my life. Well, except one, being that damned beta that's gonna feel my wrath once I get my paws on him. "So, he's really my brother?" I ask, the waterline of my eyes slowly building, my heart heavy with emotions I didn't think I could feel anymore. Dr. Morris nods his head happily "D.N.A is 99.9% accurate. You are definitely brothers!" He relays, before patting me on the back in glee. My brother, the one I never really had time to fully get to know. He was only a week old when the three of them left that fateful day, not knowing that would be the last time I would see any of them again in life. Karielle grabs my hand and squeezes it tightly, I could feel my pulse thumping at my increased heart rate within her hand at the news. "I'm here for you, okay?" she assures me, as she grabs my cheek to turn my head to face her. "I'm so happy for you Daxton, I really am. I hope this helps close part of the hole I feel you have in your heart. Maybe now, I'll get to know more. Until then, I think we need a celebration for the both of us tonight!" She concludes, causing a big grin to appear on my face in spite of my tears. Dr. Morris clears his throat to regain our attention. We both look to him, before he said something that caused a heavy cold chill in both of us, the goosebumps forming quicker than a spoken word. "But.. th- that's not all." Dr Morris says, and Karielle and I look to eachother before looking back at him, equally not understanding his statement. "What more could there be" She asks him, him staring at us in a daze before the next words left his mouth. "I also took Alpha Christian's D.N.A to run it with Emile's, and did not expect the surprising result I had received when comparing the three of you." He shakes his head as if whatever he is about to say is like a distant dream, not in the forces of reality. "Not only did I see that Emile is definitely the missing baby of all these years, your brother, Rowan Torsney. Alpha Christian is no other than Alpha Collin's brother. Someone that was thought dead in the war against Sasha, the dark witch. Except, well, he's very much alive. "
