1. Birth of hero
At a deserted bank of river Ganga, sat a woman crying while hugging her baby. It was still the morning time so no one can be seen, the woman looked like a princess and the baby was radiant like sun, she kept crying while holding the baby in her hands, suddenly another woman probably a maid, came and kept a hand on her shoulder.
The princess is revealed to be Kunti, who was holding her son Karn.
Priyamvada :- Princess let him go now, it's already late, if anyone sees us it will be a huge trouble.
Kunti :- How can I do this to my son, how can I just leave him ?
Priyamvada :- Princess, if you will not let him go now, he will have to face more accusations from the society, think about your father's reputation and yourself.
Kunti :- I am really sorry putra, I am really sorry, please forgive this coward mother, who dosen't have courage to accept you, this all happened because of my mistake.
She then put Karn safely in a basket, with a letter and flew him in the river.
She starts crying badly.
Priyamvada :- Please control yourself princess.
Kunti :- I am sorry putra, I don't have a choice.
The basket kept flowing in the river, and reached a shore.
A woman was praying to Suryadev on the very shore.
She was Adhirath's wife Radha. The couple was childless even after years of their marriage. She was leaving when she spotted a basket, she went near it and found a baby sleeping with a note to adopt him.
Radha was overwhelmed with joy as she lifted the baby in her hands, his aura was divine and he was wearing golden earrings. She thanked Suryadev for the gift and took the baby to her home.
At night Adhirath came back home, exhausted after day's work. He washed his hands and feet before entering, but what he saw shocked him.
His wife was sitting on the bed with a baby, playing with him.
Adhirath :- Whose son is he Radha ?
Radha :- Arya, I found him at the bank of river Ganga with this letter ( showing him the letter ). I think bhagwan Surya Narayan has blessed us with this child, our son arya.
Adhirath was overjoyed as he read the letter, both of them were happy at the arrival of a gem, and thanked Suryadev.
Time was passing happily for them, they also discovered that Karn had an impenetrable golden armour on his body.
Karn ( Vasusen ) became popular throughout the village, for his mischievousness and always cheerful nature.
