    its been 3 bloody weeks since i last seen Nikki and after her birthday i searched high and low for my mate but it was like she was wiped off the edge of the planet.  i even asked my mother for her adoption papers and she was adopted out to a human couple in town but after sneaking up to her room in her parents house i soon discovered there was no trace of her no scent no pictures nothing it was like this family just discarded her like she was trash.

     This made me very angry how could anyone just get rid of a person that lived with them for so long people that claimed they wanted her.

         Frustrated i sent out search parties looking for her and to no avail everyone came up blank.  we had no new leads for days now.

          Mac has been bugging me non stop about a new club in a couple towns over that just opened up i told him i really didn't wanna go but damn it that guy guilted me into agreeing to go since i didn't spend any time with my child hood best friend.  So that evening we loaded up my Durmax for our night out on the town.

     Mac was head banging hard to an old nickel back song as we pulled up to the Red Rose Night Club kid was so embarrassing at times but he was loyal as f**k. i considered him as my beta many times over my drunk loser brother but i couldn't make a decision on it completely

     "hurry up dude we are gonna miss out on all the hot babes in there" he announced excitedly ,"and maybe you might get lucky tonight." he winked at me 

i raised an eyebrow at him " ya think so there bud" 

"damn rights what sexy mama doesn't want a taste of the next future alpha over here" he said in a taunting high pitched voice 

        i tried to take a swing at him but the bugger was quick and dodged my blow and jumped out of the truck and made the fastest beeline i've ever seen for a crowd of girls that were entering the club. man this was gonna be a long night i told myself and made my way into the club behind him. I took a seat at the bar,  the bartender came over, man was she sexy as hell her long blond hair reached the middle of her back and her green eyes shone like emeralds and she wore a tight black leather jumpsuit she batted her eyes at me and asked in a suggestive voice "what can i get you" 

    "a double rum and coke and also a shot of moonshine" i smiled sweetly at her maybe this will help me forget about my search for my mate i though, as i watched Mac make his was toward the strippers stage "ohhh and a beer for my friend way over there," i said as she poured me the moonshine shot first.  i downed the shot soon as i got it and felt the burn make its way to my stomach i exhaled hard f**k did that shot kick hard,  as i chased it with a sip of rum and coke.  

         i after made my way up to the stage beside Mac who was throwing money at the strippers and handed his beer to him.  

"this is sick dude," he shouted above the music ,"f**k the girls here tonight are hot" 

i rolled my eyes at him didn't take much to impress that guy.  

"Mate!" Alexander bounced around excitedly i dropped my rum and coke on the floor and spit out my sip i just too all over Mac 

"what the f**k man!," Mac cursed at me wiping the booze from his face 

"shes here! Mac shes here! i feel her close my mate," i said and looked around excitedly 

Macs eyes bodged out of his head "what" he screeched clearly shocked at the sudden news i just told him.

        i inhaled deeply i caught a faint scent of chocolate chip cookies and lavender,  i looked across the bar to the opening of the restaurant area where i spotted her she wore a black skirt showing off her sexy long legs and black crop top her red shiny hair was brought back into a loose braid and she wore killer red high heals.

      i strolled over she never noticed me her back was turned i wrapped my arms around her and whispered in her ear "mate"
