Mother, is that you?

*In Ronald's Labs*

"So, what exactly happened here?",asked Ronald , entering the Lab.

The doctors couldn't share Ronald's excitement.

One of the doctors took the privilege of explaining the situation.

"Mr. Kevin went inside with one of the guards and got attacked, and became one of the Nauseous men"

"It's NOCUOUS MEN!", shrieked Ronald,"So tell me, what exactly happened?"

"Umm... They went inside, as noiselessly as they possibly could, and then one of them, turned it's head towards them. I think they were not going to attack them, if the guard had not made the mistake of shooting at them, they might have stayed put. And....it was a horrible sight.....they went towards them in a pack and they covered up the guard , biting him everywhere, he was covered with blood within seconds and then -then..... They turned towards Dr. Kevin, observing him...and Dr. Kevin....he just tried to stand there like a statue, but, he sneezed, the bacterias found the worst time to come out. And, they attacked him, worse than they attacked the guard. Then the guard has been unconscious, since. But, Mr. Kevin, apparently, has been trying to get up, his appearance seems to have changed , his eyes, face and hands are observed to be just like the Nocuous Men....but, we still need to observe, we aren't very much sure he is fully becoming one of them.

"Then let's check!",said Ronald and snatched up the microphone from the table , pressed the green button and said into it,

"DR. KEVIN! DR. KEVIN DO YOU HEAR ME? DR. KEVIN?", screamed Ronald through the microphone.

No response, the body of Dr. Kevin was moving, changing into someone different, something different. He was no more the same man or a human, he was rapidly changing into one of the Nocuous Men. He stood up, with his head up high, the same as the other men, and his face exactly as the other Nocuous Men. 

Some of the other doctors were crying, and some were just horrified at the fact that one of their best fellow doctors just changed into a blood-hungry monster, while Ronald's evil mind was already busy making ugly plans.

*In S.T.A.R Labs*

Sam opened his eyes. It was blurry, he wasn't in his room, which was strange. He remembered falling asleep in his room in S.T.A.R Labs. But, this place was......bright, like really bright. 

He got up. And, saw a woman standing infront of him, in a yellow dress. He looked at her face and saw his mother staring back at him.

Sam eyes widened, as he stared at her. 

'Its a dream, it's a dream',he repeated to himself.

" No it's not", replied the woman, smiling.

"You have grown nicely my son",she said with tears in her eyes

"How am I talking to you?",gasped Sam,"Am I -Am I dead?"

"No",she replied.

"Then?!",asked Sam

"You, my son, have made it possible",said Lily

"But....This doesn't make any sense! You- you are ....dead", shrieked Sam.

"Yes I am dead and you are talking to me right now, but, my son, it's in your mind.",she said.

"It's a dream, then?",asked Sam

"No, you are in the realm between dream and reality", explained Lily, "You are neither dreaming nor is it actually happening"

"But, I was sleeping,how could I have done that?",asked Sam

"Remember the killer transport? It gave you powers that-"

"The what?",asked Sam

"The device, that you and your friends are researching", said Lily

"How do you know about it?",asked Sam

"Sam, I am in your mind, I know everything you know",said Lily, smiling,"And my dear boy, I have to say, I could not be any prouder, I am not ashamed of you, I am not disappointed by you, I am as proud as any mother could be, of her child. Don't ever think that I am disappointed by you!"

"How do you know that I think you are disappointed by me?",asked Sam, with wetness in his eyes.

"I am a creation of your mind! I live in your mind, and I know all that you know",said Lily.

"So mom, you, you are alive in my mind?"

"Yes and no"

"What do you mean mommy?!"

"I mean, that, I am dead but still manage to be alive for YOU. I am all that you think of your mother. I am what your mother would be if she were alive. She is physically dead. She is not alive anymore, but her memories are up here in your mind, I am not all your mother was, but I am all that you think your mother was",said Lily.

"It is way too complicated!", exclaimed Sam,"If you are just a reminder of my mother then how do you know something that my mother knew and I didn't? If you are in my mind, then you should know all that I know, how do you know something only my mother knew?",asked Sam,not quite Understanding his own question properly.

"I understand your question, I know it because, you remember, when I told you that the killer transport gave you some powers?"

"Yes I know that, it's that time travel thing",said Sam

"Yes and this too....you can know it",said Lily

"Know what?",asked Sam

"You can know what your mother would tell you if she were alive, what she would confide, what she would feel. You can know the secrets that were buried inside her mind. I am telling you this, because you need this information now. The Killer transport, that device, it is not an ordinary device. Time is continuously changing, time is continuously going back , we people never notice it. We keep repeating the same things without knowing it. But you were granted with the misfortune of experiencing it. The time you change back, when you do it, you enter another realm. And then, you get back into the past where you want to go. It may sound confusing, but this is what is the truth.

In the ancient times , there was a myth, that the killer transport could grant you the powers of time travel and the power to communicate with the dead. Thousands tried, but no one could ever achieve it-"

"Yes , I was told that it was because of that stupid blast in the lab of Ronald! But, there are no mentions of the killer transport in the old books of history and culture!"exclaimed Sam

"There are, there are mentions of the killer transport in history, maybe not with that name. But with another name. It appears in every two decades. When someone is greatly in need. When someone is destined for something greater",said Lily, dramatically.

" But, why don't I know about it then? We searched it, the history books and all the reference to dangerous objects.",said Sam

"Either you are not looking properly or, someone doesn't want you to have the knowledge of it",said Lily , smiled mysteriously and disappeared in a wisp of smoke.

"Wait!wait ! Who?! Don't go! Who?! -"

Sam's eyes opened , everything was blurry! He was in his room. He found Diana and Oliver staring down at him. He got up hurriedly. 

"Sam? Sam are you okay?",asked Diana, delicately.

"I am fine! Let's go down to the lab! We need to discuss something!",said Sam in a loud voice , started wearing his shirt that he had opened before sleeping and opened the door and got out, leaving behind Oliver and Diana with stumped look on their faces.
