Travelling through the old memories!

Sam turned around, and found a boy staring at him. 

He had deep blue eyes, black hair and medium skin colour. He looked very good indeed.

Sam saw it was him. He was staring at himself. But much younger. Much innocent.

"Am I dead?",asked Sam 

The younger Sam replied,"You gotta stop asking that question mate"

"Why do you have my face?",asked Sam

The younger Sam replied simply,"Because I am you"

"But....Last time it was my mother",Sam asked confusedly.

"You are the one who decides who you want to talk to",said the younger Sam.

"Hey, but I didn't choose to come here! I remember fainting and then I am here talking to myself",said Sam frustrated.

"You decide who you need to talk to. Last time, you were grieving for your mother, you 'needed' to talk to her. This time you 'needed' to talk to yourself, even though you didn't want to", explained the younger Sam calmly.

"I don't know why but none of this goes into my head!",said Sam, with tears in his eyes,"I don't want to talk to anybody!"

And before the younger Sam could reply, Sam said,"No! I don't need to , either! I am the one who decides!"

The younger Sam calmly stared at him and then said,"You are angry Sam"

"Ah! Thanks for telling me!",said Sam, frustrated.

"What is the reason?"

"I LOST MY FATHER! I LOST MY SISTER! IS THERE SUPPOSED TO BE ANY OTHER JUSTIFICATION FOR MY ANGER?!"

"Really?",asked younger Sam coolly.

Sam's eyes were red and consumed with anger, he went towards the younger Sam and tried to grab his neck. His hand passed through it. 

"You cannot Sam",said the younger Sam calmly

"CANNOT WHAT?!", screamed Sam,"CANNOT HURT YOU?! I NEVER WANTED ANY OF THIS! I NEVER WANTED ANYTHING! I NEVER WANTED ANYTHING EXCEPT FOR MY FAMILY!"

The younger Sam patiently listened to him.

"I swear never wanted anything except for my loved ones.",said Sam, crying,"Why do I keep getting hurt? Why do I not achieve success?! Why does everyone close to me dies?! I don't have ANYTHING! I have nothing with which I can fight Ronald! Just some time travel power which can't even help me go back 24 hours! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DEFEAT RONALD! I am not a genius like Oliver, neither am I strong as my father, NOR AM I INTELLIGENT LIKE MY SISTER! I don't have anything! How am I supposed to fullfill my father's wish?! My sister's?! I DONT HAVE ANY PURPOSE TO FIGHT!I DONT HAVE ANY PURPOSE TO LIVE!! I WANT TO DIEEE!!"

Sam's legs gave away and he slumped on the ground with his hands on his face, crying, very loudly.

The younger Sam had tears in his eyes too. He approached Sam and said,"Come with me"

"Where?" , asked Sam

"Just come"

The younger Sam grabbed Sam's hand and they dissolved.

Suddenly Sam found himself looking at a kid and a woman, his mother.

The kid looked so happy. He looked about 5years old. The kid and his mother were walking down the street. The kid was having ice-cream , which was smeared on his nose , cheeks and shirt

"Oh John!",the woman said, laughing,"Look what you have done, you have ruined your shirt baby!"

The kid made a guilty face and said, "Are you going to scold me mama?"

"No baby! Why will I scold you? You are just a baby! And babies make mistakes so their mommies are there to correct them!",said the woman kneeling down and wiping the cream with her handkerchief off of the kids cheek and nose.

Sam stood there, watching the woman and the baby cheerfully walking down the street and laughing. 

Sam just stared at them with tears in his eyes and a beautiful smile on his face.

Then everything evaporated, and younger Sam came face-to-face with Sam. 

"Did you see that?",he asked

Sam nodded his head

"Hold my hand again",said younger Sam. Sam obeyed.

Sam saw a kid with his ear pressed to the door, on the other side of the door , a fight was going on, between his mother and father.

"No! You can't just walk right into danger!",screamed his mother

"But, Lily! Try to understand! Please! I need to go there! If I don't, there would be thousands of lives at stake! People will die! Ronald is paranoid! He would go to any extent to make this vaccine! I need to go to New York! Please understand Lily....", his father said.

"What about me? What about your son? What about us?! Doesn't your son need you?! You know perfectly what Ronald will do IF YOU GO THERE TO CONFRONT HIM! Ronald is paranoid you say, he is like that because of his parents! His father left him! His mother tried to commit suicide and died a week later! What else would you expect from a son of people who did that to him?! They abandoned him LEO! What if our child someday becomes like that?! What if he goes paranoid someday and do something like Ronald is?! Circumstances , Purpose and Revenge makes a person evil. Don't do this to our child. Please Leo....",said his mother 

"Lily, you can't look at that innocent boy's face and say this! He is the best thing that ever happened to us! I will back before you know it! It's you and my son or its the whole world! I can't choose -"

"Us over the world?", completed his mother 

"No I didn't want to say that Lily! I was saying -"

"You have made your say",said his mother, "You can go, but promise me you will come back. Not for me , not for you,but for John, please"

"Yes, I will ! I will! I will never abandon my son",said his father

Sam heard footsteps towards the door. His mother opened the door and the kid who was hearing the conversation , with his ears pressed on the door stepped back and looked startled on finding his mother standing over him. 

His mother's expression went from being stern to shock.

"John, baby were you listening?",asked his mother.

The kid looked up at his mother and said ," Yes mommy"

"How much?"

"All of it",the kid answered truthfully.

His mother kneeled down and said,"Something you want to say to me baby?"

"Mommy....I am strong mommy....I won't become evil.... I am big now",said the kid, with such innocence that made his mother cry

"I know baby",said his mother hugging him," You are strong and big now. I know you will never become someone like Ronald"

"Mommy",said the kid, breaking free of the hug," Is dad leaving us?"

"No baby",said his mother," He is just going to New York City to get you some toys"

The kid looked at his mother's eyes and said,"Mommy you are lying"

"Oh Johnny! You daddy was going there to get you chocolates and toys but then he got a call and he has other business to attend. But, he is gonna come back real quick"

"Really?",asked the kid , his face lit up with excitement.

His mother nodded and smiled.

Standing behind them, Sam was looking at his kid- self and smiling at his own innocence.

The scene dissolved.

The younger Sam came to Sam and said,"You were so happy and innocent!"

"I know",said Sam

The younger Sam held out his hand and said,"Another Go?"

Before giving his hand Sam hesitated and said," But why are you doing this? Why are you taking me through my own memories? Why are you making me see myself say and do things I know I have already done"

"I am reminding you",said the younger Sam," I am reminding you of who you are and also, you need to go through this memory too. So hold my hand"

Sam held the younger Sam's hand and the everything dissolved, once again, for the last time.
