Till death do us part

SANTIAGO- I watch as the blood mixes with water from the shower iam taking after a long day. I get married tomorrow and I just know her name. ALVIA DA SILVA. It is an arranged marriage just like a business transaction. I keep my business to myself and she keeps hers to herself. I will never let her be a distraction.  I came out of the bathroom and went down to have my dinner. I sat across the table with my two brothers, ENZO LIAM DIAZ, and JAVIER RIMIRO DIAZ. The tension in the air was thick, just then I heard the sweet voice which would always calm any of the men in our house, ROSA SOFIA DIAZ, Javi's 6 year old daughter came down skipping from the stairs. It was way past her bed time, so I asked her "shouldn't you be in your bed princess?! What are you doing up so late?!".she asked me something then which made my heart stop. " Santi I was waiting for you. I couldn't sleep because you said you'll come back and put me to sleep. And I was thinking about your wedding tomorrow. ".she then thought for a while then continued, " Will you still love me after she comes?! She'll be your queen won't she Santi?! Will I still be your princess?! ".all my brothers looked at me. I looked at Rosa and said, " Rosa you'll be always our princess, no one can take your place".Just as I was talking to her, Javi came up and took Rosa from me to take her to bed.  After a while, Javi came down and sat beside me. Enzo had already gone to his bed. I was sipping on my whiskey looking at Javi as he was ready to say something. "It's not so bad you know, getting married".i looked at him " You married for love Javi". Javi was married. He married the love of his life Cathrine. She was the most kindest woman I had ever met after my mom. After 2 years of marriage she gave birth to Rosa, the little bundle of joy who wrapped as all of us in her little finger. After 3 years of Rosa being born, she went to her dad's house, with Rosa. Javi couldn't go as he had to travel to another country. There, when her fathers business deal fell through and the man had her father on gun point, she came up and Shielded her father but the damage was already done. Catherine got shot and died on impact. From that day onwards, Javi has never allowed them to see Rosa. "That's no problem Santi, you'll grow to love her " He said snapping me out of my thoughts. I placed my glass on the bar and "it is and always will be a business transaction Javi, nothing else".Javi just nodded and went upstairs to bed.  I went to my room and drifted off to sleep after sometime thinking what would happen tomorrow.
