The following morning, I wake up alone. I open my eyes and roll around to see the empty space next to me where Ethan should be. But before the disappointment can sting me, I find a folded note and a flower on my pillow. Giggling like a schoolgirl, I open the note that reads: "I've never hated my pack duties more than this morning. Hope you have a lovely day, princess."
