Prologue
In the supernatural world,
Long before kingdoms rose and vampires crumbled,
the gods shaped the world in shadow and flame.
Their names were Selene, the goddess of the moon;
Tyron, the god of fire and thunder. Shannon - the goddess of love.
Selene was a woman with divine beauty. Her hair long and lovely, flowing and adorned with a crescent moon crown. The white dress she wore shone on a
dark night as her body radiated the hazy moonlight.
Tyron was a powerful man with eyes blazing like embers and his skin radiating. He wields a staff that
controls fire and lightning, summoning bolts of lightning with a mere thought.
Shannon is a woman with pure beauty. She is a radiant god embodying warmth and devotion. Her long flowing flocks of golden hair cascading down her
back like a river of sunset hues. Eyes shining bright like stars on a clear night with a smile that radiates warmth and light, capable of illuminating
even the darkest corners of the heart.
In front of their glowing eyes were three supernatural beings; a lycanthrope, a vampire and a witch.
The vampire and the lycanthrope have very broad and muscular bodies marred with newly bad gashes, bruises and batters.
The vampire; Thorne and the lycanthrope; Kael - their
eyes were the colour of blood itself, tinted with anger and hate glaring at each other like they were about to
rip each others throats out.
Morgana, the witch. She was looked like she was in the age what humans called
middle aged but she was above that. She smirked as she looked at the two supernaturals, mischief dancing in her eyes. She was known for being cunning and scheming.
The three supernaturals were known for waging wars once they stepped on each others' feet.
For millennia, they tore the earth asunder in their thirst-for dominance. Pack hunted coven. Coven cursed
Clan. Clan drained Pack. Blood soaked every border.
This was the biggest war yet.
The gods high above couldn't just sit there and watch while innocents died, minds of the supernaturals
corrupt. There should be peace.
So the gods came up with a plan. Something that might make this chaos and wars end. This plan was
mostly crafted by Shannon - the god of Love.
"That's enough," Tyron's voice echoed like thunder.
Lightning sizzling around him. He was referring to the glares the two male supernaturals threw at each other.
Around them was the aftermath of war. Lycantropes, vampires and demon carcasses were laying on the
ground along with their flowing rivers of blood.
In the air were vultures with their eyes complementing their feathers.
Lucifer and his demons are still out there," Tyron continued, looking down at the two supernaturals as the
growled on the ground. In their human forms, their faces were coated with blood and were barely recognized.
I don't care!!!" The vampire king hollered. He had enough with these heavenly beings before his eyes, gods, goddess or not.
"You will," the goddess of love said solemnly. Looking at all of them, she smiled radiantly "You all will".
King Kael stood up, his legs shaky. A devious smirk on his lips, "I'm done with this." His voice guttered.
The war between the supernaturals and the demons that lasted for centuries, had brought enormous casualties between the four parties and the other creatures in the whole terrestrial world. And there wasn't a time these supernaturals fought together as one. They didn't care about the demons and their rampage. Once they crossed their territory, the demons will be torn apart.
One of the casualties caused by the supernaturals and demons was the extinction of the faes, the frailest creatures with astounding spirit power. In order to seal the evil force, their death was the ultimate sacrifice.
Thorne has had enough with these celestial beings telling him what and what not to do. The vampire king disregarded their presence by walking away from them.
The Lycanthrope king did the same too. They stepped on the bodies of vampires and lycanthropes respectively.
The Queen Morganna just shrugged, stepping out too. Smiling to herself as she stepped on bodies of the vampires and lycanthropes.
Regardless of their actions, and the distance between them, Selene's voice still echoed around them.
"Lucifer and his seven demons will be here someday. Here to take over your world and other worlds and you need to put them back in hell!" Selene's voice was heard no matter the distance the super naturals put between themselves and the gods.
"Without the faes nothing can be done" Queen Morgana snorted. Starting to get irritated. It was the fae's power that sealed Lucifer away and now, since they ceased to exist, nothing Selene or the gods could do to face the resurrection of Lucifer and his powerful demons.
Tyron spoke, anger laced in his voice "Two faes will be born into the terrestrial world once again. When the spirit of their ancestors breathe life into them and the three of you must protect them."
"Protect who?!" Thorne snapped. He had to stop walking to the end and turned his back to look at the thunder and fire god from far away distance, his eyes glistening red with anger.
"How do you think that's going to work out?" Queen Morgana asked, while narrowing her blue obsidian eyes. Her hands stirred with old magic.
Selene had cursed the three of them because of their ferocious actions to gain supreme dominance, power and authority. The moon goddess cursed them that they will never be mated as a punishment of their atrocious actions in the past.
But Queen Morgana, high enchantress of the Dark Moon Coven, once loved a male witch. He was her everything. Then she lost him in that ancient war that was fought against the lycanthropes and Vampires. That's why she vowed that no peace would rise. Not while witches bleed beneath lycanthropes and werewolf claws. Not while Vampires fed on coven sisters in the night. So she whispered to the shadows. She stirred old magic. She prepared her own kind of war. But now… how dare these celestial beings give her a responsibility of caring for two weak creatures!
"We can't be slaves to those weak and sickly creatures!" Kael voiced incredulously. "Aren't you afraid of what we will do to them - hell, we can snap them in two if we want."
The lycantropes didn't appreciate weaknesses, and the fae were so fragile.
"No you will not" Shannon said patiently. She smiled at them. The smile which was beginning to irritate Queen Morgana. "You will not be their slave nor will you lay your hands on them; they will be cherished by you in every way possible."
Thorne laughed menacingly upon hearing this. "Truly, the gods are mad!" This statement made Tyron's jaw tick; he tried to keep his anger in check but why were these supernaturals making it so hard and difficult to do.
"How bold" Kael remarked, pursing his lips into a devious smirk.
Thorne never cared about Lucifer and his demon's resurrection. Anytime, they were found in his territory with or without the fae's he would tear their body apart. "I don't need any fae to protect my race. Once I see them and they see me, I will be the last person there eyes would see" This statement was referring to both the faes and the demon.
Tyron's voice was heard laced with impatience and anger. "One of them will carry the blood of a fae and a lycantrope. The other will carry the blood of a fae and a witch!"
Queen Morgana's eyes narrowed at that the last statement "How preposterous" she said, powerful magic stirring in her hands. She wasn't liking where this was going.
Thorne smirked as he saw the agitated look on Morgana's face "Well, that's something. Well like I said once I see them, I will snap them in two and feed their corpse to the vultures" he said as he turned around.
But, the next voice from Shannon was laced with mirthfulness as she said "Not when you can't hurt your mate".
Queen Morgana smirked.
