When I get home, I take a shower and climb into bed. Ever since I started having dreams of Kami, I’ve been addicted to them. I know once I close my eyes, she’ll be there in them. I lay my head on the pillow and take in a few breaths, letting them out slowly. The dreams aren’t like normal ones. In mine, it’s as if I’m in a real place. Everything is vivid, and when I touch things, I feel them. When I breathe, I smell all the scents around me. My mind begins to drift, and I welcome the darkness until everything becomes light.
