Over The Next Few Weeks Part 2

1846 Words
The morning after the gender reveal party, I woke up at about 8:00 in the morning, and I was feeling funny, so I told William that he needed to get Doctor Peggy over to the house quickly. He looked at me and asked, "Is it time for the babies to come into the world?" I told him I didn't know. I didn't feel like this with the other kids, but I thought maybe it was time for them to come into the world. When Dr. Peggy came, she did a check and asked if we could get to the infirmary very fast because I was starting to dilate. William picked me up bridal style and carried me down 6 flights of stairs to the garage and put me into the jeep 4x4 that was dark blue to get me to the hospital as fast as he could. The hospital was on the other side of the territory lands from the main house, about a mile from where our parents' houses are. As soon as we pulled up to the hospital, there were all these people waiting for us to help get me and William into the hospital and into the right room to have the pups. When I got out of the jeep, I looked back and saw the whole pack coming through the woods to the infirmary. I already know what is going to happen as soon as they are told that the pups were born, then the whole pack is going to howl and celebrate their birth. William and I finally got into the hospital and went to the room to have the babies. I was already about three centimeters dilated when Peggy did a check on me back at the house. You would have thought that someone had told the whole pack through our pack link because of all the noise that was going on outside the hospital. When Dr. Peggy came into the room to do her check to see how far I was away from meeting these pups. She had to get everything ready, so I had to put my legs up and then relax so that she could do her work, and I was already at four and a half centimeters dilated if I wanted the epidural. I looked at William, and he told me that it was my decision, and he would follow me no matter what choice I made. I looked at Peggy and asked, "How close do I have to be before I couldn't get it if I wanted to get it." She told me "That I was close to being too close." I opted not to get it. William looked at me and said, "Are you sure you don't want it?" I told him that I had it with the boys and the girls wanted to try it this way. He said, "OK, we will do it your way." She shook her head and let the anesthesiologist know that I wasn't getting the epidural. He knew why I wanted to do it without it, being I am not a big fan of needles. At this moment, I am glad that everyone will listen to what I want in this time. I just don't know what to expect if I don't get it. I was so glad that they would all listen to me every now and again. About an hour later, Doctor Peggy came in and did another check on me, and I was ten centimeters dilated. She told me it was time for me to start trying to push the babies out, and that she needed William to stand on one side of me, so she asked if I wanted William's mom to be in the room or not. I told her that I wanted her there. She told a nurse to go get Cheryl and have her come into the room with us. When she gets into the room, she walks over and asks me where I want her, and I tell her to stay next to William because I want him to be able to cut the cord and keep him on his feet. After all, he looks like he’s going to pass out. He looks at me and huffs when Dr. Peggy tells me it’s time to push to get the babies out. It’s not too long before baby number one makes an appearance. Baby number one is a girl. She weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz. and was 21 inches long. Her name is Kristen. Baby number two is the boy. He weighed 6lbs. 2oz. He was 20 inches long. His name is Blaze. Baby number 3 was a girl, and she weighed 7lbs, and she was 19.5 inches long. Her name is Mistyanne. They were a lot easier than the other four kids were when they were born. As they were finishing cleaning me up, one of the nurses was going to hand me one of the babies and I felt a sharp pain in my lower abdomen and looked at Peggy, William, and his mom, and they all looked at me at the same time and Peggy moved back to see what was going on and. We were amazed to find that there were four there. One was hiding behind the others. That baby we found out was a boy and he weighed 6lbs. 5oz. He was 19 inches long. His name is Collin. After they were done cleaning me up and getting me ready to rest for the second time, the nurse asked us if we wanted our fathers to be able to come in and William told her, Yes, we would, because he knew that I wanted our dads to be one of the first ones to see and hold the babies. I was so happy to talk, and I was so glad that the babies were finally here. I get to hold them and I get to watch them grow up. I get to watch the young adult and then the adult. I get to watch them as they become the leaders of the pack and how they run it. I just hope that they do as good of a job as what their father and I have tried to do. As we were all holding the babies in complete awe of what the four of these children are here right now, I looked at William and said, "I wonder what their wolves will look like when they get old enough for them." "I knew we had a few years to go before that happened." William looked at me and had a look of pure happiness on his face and told me that he was also as intrigued as I was. Our fathers were in awe of our babies and how well they were able to sleep with all the howling going on outside the hospital from the pack. William and I were also impressed with how well they were sleeping so far. William and my mom said that they slept like me hard as a rock and nothing could wake me. With the exception of storms that was and still is the only thing and keep me up until it ends Cheryl said William was the same way when he was younger The next day, the pups and I were released from the hospital and able to go home, but the doctor said that she would be there in a few days to see how the babies and I were doing. I told William that as the children get older, we will have to start thinking about training them to become the Alphas and Lunas of this pack and I just hope that they all want to and will take on the responsibility of their birthright. He told me that the older ones were already starting to play the part. I just smiled at him, knowing that he was right. I was still scared of how they would all act, being all Alpha and Luna along with their older siblings of the same pack if they wanted to. As William and I pulled up to the house with the babies, I linked the pack that I already knew was at the house to see the pups. That they needed to be very quiet because the little ones were asleep, and we needed to let them bond with us and their siblings for a few days before we started passing them around to the other members of the pack and confusing them. When we got to the house, Aspen, Kyle, Cheyenne and Gavin were all waiting for us so that they could help us get the babies and all the stuff from the infirmary. I asked them if they could help us get everything unloaded, and we would help them bring it in, but the four of them insisted that they bring everything into the house and up to our room. All the stuff for the new pups' room that was connected to our room. We agreed we would take the babies into the house and the four of them would get everything else into the house and to the rooms. Once everything was put away, we invited the other children into the room so that they could meet their youngest siblings. I was so happy to see how the older ones took the little ones and began to become very protective of them. They told me that William and I had had a very stressful couple of days, that I should lay down and rest, and they would take care of the babies for a few hours. I was happy that they were going to take so much responsibility. I knew this would be a great experience for them to have when they have their own kids. I told them that they shouldn't need much, just a diaper change in about an hour or so because they had just eaten before we went left the hospital. William and I walked into our room, and we got into bed for our nap. The kids had seen other pack members with young pups and babies, so I knew that they would know what to do and if we were needed they would come get us. I told William, "I was so proud of the kids stepping up right away and wanted to take on the responsibility of helping with the new pups." He told me "that he was also very proud of them and me for helping him make all the 8 of them." I told him that I was proud of the 8 of them as well and that I was proud of the father he has become and the man that I married. My family is growing by the day, and I am so happy that we have made this life as happy as it is. It seems that every day we get the happy news that there is going to be another addition to it.
