The Skipper called the officers into the Wardroom, leaving the XO and the COB with the Control Room watch. Dr. Banks and Lonie joined the meeting. The Skipper turned the floor over to the civilian spook.
“That was a very successful operation,” Dr. Banks began. “That’s quite a team you’ve got, Lieutenant McDowell. Glad you guys are on our side.”
I acknowledged with a nod.
“We’ve got enough information to keep the NSA boys busy for some time. We’ll be shipping all our tapes directly to Washington the moment we arrive in Guam.
