Chapter 20: I want to sandpaper it off!

Zoe was knocked out of course after the go playing in the Motorway comment. When she woke up her head pounded and she felt very cold. She looked round and saw meat carcasses of various animals. She had been tied up and left hanging on a butcher’s hook in a walk in refrigerator. If she tried she could put the tips of her shoes on the floor, but that was about it.

“I suppose the cold will help my head” Zoe muttered trying to find the bright side.

“Where are we going? We know exactly where Zoe is and we should be heading there right now!” Akihiko had said for the millionth time. They knew she was located on Socorro Island, a small volcanic island 600 Km west of Mexico’s coast. It was no wonder no one in the syndicate world could find them!

“Again Akihiko, because we need help. The Blood God’s are not to be messed with!” Dave snapped as he drove a four by four with everyone in. If they all got their alive it would be a miracle! Dave thought. Even when the car was quite, the murderous intent still hung in the air.

“Why? He needs to know I have a marriage contract with Zoe’s parents at some point” Andrew said with a shrug.

“What? Zoe is engaged?” Akihiko roared, he was trying to control his anger but he was shaking with rage. How dare Zoe lead him on like this! He thought irrationally

“For God’s sake, you are acting like a pack of children!  No she is not engaged and no she is not dating Andrew. Now shut the f**k up!” Dave snapped and Akihiko smiled as he looked out the window.

“Who’s side on you anyway?” Kurt mumbled

“Zoe’s and I always will be. She will choose her future if we can rescue her Alive” Dave said as he pulled into a large flat Airstrip with a  V-22 Osprey helicopter waiting for them.

“I mean prepare yourself for the fact that she could be dead already, so stop squabbling!” Dave s snapped as he parked up. He got out and slammed the door before walking over to a group of men waiting for him.

The other three got out and started walking towards the group. A man with a bald head and green eyes snapped his head round and growled “You!”  Before running over and punching Akihiko's in the nose.

Two identical twins with blue eyes and black hair joined in kicking Akihito’s in the ribs when he was on the ground.

“Hi Theo, Ethan and Adain...I never been more happy to see you!” Kurt said with a smirk

“Shouldn’t we break this up?” Dave said with a sigh

“ Ahh I would give a few more minutes, just to get it out of their system” Frank said. Frank was Theo’s second in command and The Mad Dog’s medical advisor.

“I suppose so” Dave said with yet another sigh.

Meanwhile, Zoe heard the walk in refrigerator door opened and two burley looking men came over.

“Had a nice nap sweetheart?” One of the men jeered.

“You know, if I had a face like yours I would sue my parents!” Zoe retorted and she felt a punch in her stomach.

“Don’t rough her up too much, the boss wants her whole....for now” the other man said as he untied her and dragged her out of the refrigerator. Zoe gasped as she saw her surroundings for the first time, it was like they were in some Italian mansion in the middle of nowhere!  She was dragged up a marbled stair case and dragged into a room. She was flung on the sofa, with Benny sat in the sofa opposite her. The men went out and closed the door.

“So has your temper cool down?” Benny said with a smile as he poured water into a glass.

“What do you want Benny?” Zoe snapped as she looked round the room. It was all in a baroque style, heavy gold leaf and dark red decorations everywhere. Truly horrendous and over the top Zoe thought.

“Enjoying the decor I see!” Benny said taking a sip of the water 

“Cut the crap! What is it you want ?” Zoe said glaring at him. 

“I know you are angry....” Benny said

“Angry? Angry? You killed my parents!” Zoe screamed as she launched herself at him. She would rip his heart out with her nails or die trying. Benny moved quickly and grabbed her arms, he threw her to the ground and laid on top of her, pinning her arms above her head.

“Well this is familiar, isn’t it? Benny whispered as Zoe madly struggled.

“Get off me!” Zoe screamed

“No I think not! Relax and you might enjoy this, I know I certainly am!”  Benny said as he started to kiss her neck.

“Tie her to the chair and bring in Jess” Benny ordered. Zoe tried to struggle but she was forced down in the chair and tied to it. She was facing the sofa Benny sat back down on. The men checked the ropes and left again.

“You might hate me at the moment, but you will learn to love me again. I killed your parents because you disobeyed me and left. I didn’t want to, but you left me no choice. When I finally found out where you where, I had to return you to my side as quickly as possible. It is where you belong Zoe.” Benny said

“You are sick Benny, I will never love you again!” Zoe spat.

“Why? Is it because you think you love the Japanese Chairman?” Benny said with a smile

“I don’t know who you are talking about, but I am certainly not dating the Japanese syndicate chairman” Zoe snapped

“So you are not dating Akihiko  Nagato then?” Benny said 

“What are you talking about? Akihiko is not the Japanese Syndicate Chairman!” Zoe snapped

“Isn’t he? Why do you think mercenaries were after him? Those same mercenaries reported your location to me when they saw your picture on the dark web by the way” Benny said.

“He would have told me..” Zoe said. But hadn’t the people at the spar called him Emperor? The same thing the syndicate chairman is called in Japan. She knew he was in the Gang world, but a chairman? Zoe looked confused as it hit her like a wave.

Zoe saw a young women with long brown hair and olive skin come in. She wore a purple corset, black thong, suspender belt with stockings and high heels.
