Cassian stood at the entrance of the Syndicate's secret warehouse control room. The golden-green light from the server banks illuminated his face, now bare of a mask, revealing the resolve of a leader who had finally shed his weak persona. He had just left the elder matriarch exhausted and Lianna in a state of deep confusion back at Valerian.
"Prepare the Omega-level encrypted connection. I want all core directors online within the next two minutes. This is not a simulation," Cassian ordered sharply into his earpiece.
"Received, Mr. Northvale. Initiating emergency communication channel for the Syndicate's Secret Council," Agent D responded from an unknown location.
