The Strangest Things

I ran. I ran as fast as my paws could carry me. It was hard as werecats were not as fast as wolves. For years I have suffered my father and mothers pain and why? I have no idea. I've asked but all I received was a slap to my face and a kick to the ribs. 'Its because our history. Our history with werewolves is not the brightest...It's like Germany and the Allies during World War 2" Claire my cat was panting heavily and I knew she needed a break. But we couldn't stop, I heard someone behind me and I could tell they were angry.   I made the mistake of turning around because I got caught up in a rogue trap that Alpha Stanley Kissinger set up due to attacks that have been happening. Next thing I feel is hot breath on my face. I opened my bright red eyes and saw my father's pitch black ones staring deeply into my soul. "You are in big trouble little omega." I groaned as he cut me out of the rope and made me fall onto my head. "Lets go." I rubbed my paw against my head then followed my father back to my dungeon. I hung my head in shame and started crying. We walked through the streets and received dirty looks from members and then I looked up and saw Trent. Trent Kissinger is the Alpha's second and youngest son, he is also my best friend in secret. He visits me when patrol changes just after dusk then leaves just before dawn. He tries to teach me how to speak properly but I just don't understand because my brain hasn't developed like it should've. It has been this way since we were 5 years old. I lowered my head again and continued to follow my father. I walked into my cell with my father following me "Shift." I did as he told and held my arms out for him to chain up. Any other wolves or werecats would've let out a cry as silver chains touched them but I got used to them when I was about 5 years old. That would be 5 years of wearing them all day and night. "I'll send in the beta to take care of you." "The B-beta!" The beta was the worst person to be tortured by. "No p-please. N-Not the B-Beta. D-do anything you w-w-want to m-me. Not thhhhe Beta." My father chuckled and nodded. He took his belt off and wound it around his hand but left some hanging to use as a whip. I sighed and bent over to were he could hit me. "You know what, I'm tired of this life." He unwrapped his belt from his hand and put it back on. He opened the cell door and walked out. He turned around to lock it but hesitated. "W-wait. W-were are you g-going." I stood up and ran to the bars where he stood and grabbed them. "Y-you forgot to l-lock it." "I didn't forget, I'm sorry little omega. No one deserves your life." I stared at him in disbelief and he smiled at me  "W-why did you c-change your m-mind?" "Because you just turned 16 yesterday. You deserve to find your mate. Tomorrow night I will send Trent down here with a schedule and you will have a chance to escape. Take Trent with you and never ever return. remember that you are capable of so many things." "I-Im still c-c-confused." I shook my head and he reached for my hand and looked at me with sorrow filled eyes. "Trust me, Zara." I nodded my head and he turned to leave. I went back and put on the clothes tha was left for me then sat on the ground.  An hour later I heard the dungeon opening and someone walking down the hall. A guard appeared and opened the cell then unchained me. "Alpha Max wants to see you." I stood up and allowed the guard to put silver handcuffs around my wrist, then followed him out. "W-why does he w-want to s-see m-m-me?" I looked at the guard who was dragging me to the High Rankers offices. We entered the Alpha's office and I immediately smelt it. Mint and Sandalwood.  'Mate' my wolf purred in delight. 'Oh my god. Alpha Max is our mate.'  I looked up and saw Max staring at me with a smile. "Mate" he growled, and surprisingly he was delighted. I looked over to Trent and saw him smiling widely. I bowed my head to show respect. "A-alpha if I may s-speak. You c-can reject m-me. I c-completely understand if y-you do not want to m-mate with a w-werecat, let alone an o-omega." "That is nonsense. Unchain her." The guard unchained me without touching me as he did not want to anger Max. "Have a seat little Omega." I did as he told and sat properly in the sea across from him "Leave us, Trent" "A-alpha?" "Call me Max. What is it sweet mate." "D-do you want m-me? Do y-you want to l-love me as y-your mate, and n-not just to c-carry your h-heirs?" Next thing I know was him in front of me on his knees, He brought his hand to my chin and made me look at him "Of course I want you. You are mine, my mate. I know that this pack and I have not been the best to you but..I already love you and I will do anything to make it up to you. So please Zara, forgive me." "I-I forgive y-you. But t-there is o-one thing you c-can d-do." "Anything." "I-I wanna l-learn." he smiled and nodded. He then cupped my cheeks and petted my hair. I lent into his touch and closed my eyes. Then I felt sparks erupt on my lips and opened my eyes to see Max kissing me. I closed my eyes again and kissed him back. He pulled back and placed his forehead on mine. "I knew you were mine for 3 torturous years. I felt all your pain and all I wanted to do was take it all away and I tried to tell my father to let you go. I threatened him but he turned it back on me and threatened to kill you. I couldn't risk it. He told me to wait till you were of age. I have been counting the days for you to turn 16, for you to finally be mine." "Y-Your here n-now. That's what m-matters" He stood up and grabbed my hand. He brought me to a room that had clean clothes spread out on the bed.  "This is our room. Take a shower and get dressed then meet me downstairs for dinner. I love you Kitten." He kissed me again then hesitantly let me go. I walked into the bathroom and stripped my prison clothes, I then stared at the shower handle. I heard the heard it open I turned and saw Max holding a towel. He looked at me with pure lust then anger then shame "Don't p-pay attention t-to the s-scars. I-I'm fine. H-how do you t-take a shower? I-I've never h-had one before"  He chuckled and set the towel on the counter. He placed me on the shower then turned it on. I squirmed as the water hit my face and he chuckled once more. I looked over and saw him getting undressed. He stepped into the shower and hugged me from behind.  I instantly calmed down and relaxed. He placed me where my head was under the water and scrubbed all he dirt off of my head and body. He got finished cleaning off my back side the turned me around he was looking at me with nothing but passion. He started scrubbing my chest then moved down. "May I?" I looked at him confusingly and tilted my head "Your boobs. Will you allow me to clean you there." I nodded my head and he continued to clean me. We finished showering and headed down to the kitchen for dinner. Everyone stopped in their tracks when they noticed Max's hand in mine and a scowl appeared on Alpha Stanley's face but a smile was given by Trent and Luna Janet. We sat down and started eating in silence. "Welcome, Zara." I looked up and saw Luna Janet smiling widely at me. "I-I'm S-sorry?" Alpha Stanley laughed at my stutter which made me hand my head in shame. I felt sparks on my hand and felt Max's hand on mine. I looked up at him and gave him a small smile then continued to eat. "If you can, father, I would like it if you treated my brothers mate and the future Luna with respect." I snapped my head at Trent as he spoke and gave him the 'What The Hell.' look. He gave me a wink and tried to continue but I stopped him. "I-I'm sorry if I-I cause T-Trouble, Alpha. I d-do not mean a-any harm to you o-or your f-family." "Do you even know what happened between my kind and your kind, Little Omega?" I fixed my poster then looked at him. "N-No sir. I d-don't. I h-have not b-been educated i-in my 16 years o-of life." "Many mothers were killed by them. Including mine.about 57 years ago, the werecat queen's second in hand had a little trouble with us wolves. She passed over an allies land and had to be punished because we were not aware if she rogue or not. They locked her up for a night and before they could send her on her way, werecat warriors invaded all pack lands in search of her. Which lead to the war between Wolves and Cats." "I-I'm Sorry. I-it was n-never my intention t-to hurt anyone." I looked back down at my food which I didn't feel like eating anymore. I pushed the plate back and slouched in my chair. "M-May I ask. H-how did y-your pack f-find m-me?" "As strange as it may seem. One of my best friends was a werecat. She was my beta. She fell pregnant with you and when she was almost 9 months she committed a horrible crime. You see this scar?" I nodded my head "Your mother took a knife and tried slicing my throat. Luckily Janet sensed her and knocked her out. She fell on her stomach which made us rush her to the hospital and we had you C-sectioned." "Wh-What happened?" "She died of blood loss. We buried her but no one visits her grave other than me and Janet." "I-I have two m-more question. Will y-you accept me a-as your L-Luna?" "Oh dear, I have when my son turned 16 and told me you were his mate. Whats the other question." "H-How do you g-get rid of a s-stutter?" "How about you wait for a doctor or therapist to answer that question. I am not quite sure." I nodded my head and looked at Max and Trent and smiled at them. "Also I called your family and suggested Jay take you shopping tomorrow. She never stops talking about how you deserve better and that you need to be treated equally, so she is taking you." I smiled widely at Max and grabbed his hand. I pulled him up to his room, closed the door and locked it. I turned to face him and started kissing him passionately and he kissed me back. “I’m so happy I finally have you.” “M-me to.” I kissed him more and pushed him on his bed. He flipped me over and laid on top of me. He started kissing down my jaw and my neck. He kissed just above my collar bone and I felt like I was about to pass out. I moaned in pleasure and slapped my hand to my mouth like I said something without thinking. He chuckled and moved my hand. “It’s alright. I won’t judge you.” He kissed me again and pulled off my shirt. I wasn’t wearing a bra or underwear because my old ones were dirty and I didn’t have any more. Max used one of his hands to caress my boob and interlaced my hand with his available one. He ripped off my sweatpants and I took off his clothes. “Is this your first time?” I shook my head no. “Not e-everyone shows c-compassion to me.” “I’m sorry. Do you still want to?” I nodded my head and smiled. He kissed me and went inside of my area with his. The next morning I woke up with Max’s arms wrapped around my body. I slid out of his grasp and went into the bathroom. A minute later I went back into the room and saw Max getting dressed. “M-Morning.” I wrapped my arms around his waist and gave him a quick kiss.  There was a knock on the door then a voice. “May I come in, Alpha?” he responded with a ‘Mhmm’ and the door opened. “Zara! Oh my god it is so good to see you!” Then I was embraced in a warm hug by this woman and didn’t know who she was so I pushed her back and stared at her. “I-I don’t know y-you?” I went behind Max and hid but he just chuckled and pulled me back in front of him “That is your sister Jay. She is here to take you shopping and watch you for the day as we get ready to introduce you as Luna to the pack. Jay, buy her whatever white dress she wants with my card. Buy her anything she wants with the card. Take my car.” Jay nodded and held out her hand for me to take and I hesitantly took it. She smiled, turned around and walked out. She pulled me to the garage which was filled with expensive cars and motorcycles. Jay pulled me to an all black bugatti with a license plate that read ‘Alpha’. She opened the passenger for me and I sat down then she went to the driver side and hopped in. “So, you like to go fast?” “F-Fast?” She pressed a button and a door in front of us. She slammed her foot down onto the floor and we started speeding out of the garage. My nails extended and my claws pierced the leather seats. I screamed and lifted up my legs into my chest. “STOP!”  I hissed loud and as soon as the car stopped I jumped out and ran into the forest. I stripped of my clothes and shifted. I ran faster than I have ever ran before and didn’t stop until I came across a meadow. I spotted a tree and went to lay by it. I smelt someone coming to me and I stood up and went into attack mode. I sniffed air more around me more and realized that it was a rogue werecats. I tried mindlinking someone but realized that me being a werecat that it interferes with my connection with the pack. Next thing I know I was tackled to the ground and something bit into my hind leg. I let out a whine and kicked the rogue off of me. I tried to stand up again but another rogue pinned me down by my neck and held me there. I kicked at him in his manhood and he backed off. I finally stood up and started running back into the crowded streets.  Before I could reach the streets, I tripped on a branch and was picked up by one of the rogues. I tried to turn in his mouth but was unsuccessful so I shifted back and he dropped me. I screamed for help and was crushed by the rogue. Then, I felt a punch to the side of my face. I think I blacked out because I couldn’t see anything but felt Claire pushing to get up.  I opened my eyes and saw someone's hand around my ankle and branches and leaves under me. The ground was scratching my back and making my body sore so I figured that they were dragging me. ‘C-Claire, what happened?’ ‘We were kidnapped by rogues. I tried mindlinking the pack but it wouldn’t work.’ ‘Where a-are we?’ ‘I don’t know, my child.’ “What do y-you want from m-me?” I tried lifting myself up but was to weak. “Who a-are you g-guys?” “Our Queen wants her daughter back.” “Q-Queen?” “Seriously Dan. You weren’t supposed to say anything. Goddess you are so dumb.” The second man slapped his forehead with his hand and picked me up off the ground. I whimpered at the touch on my back due to the burns and scratches and the guy looked worried.  “You know if her mate finds us and sees you carrying her, He will kill us.” “He w-will kill you a-anyway.” The guy named Dan turned around and pushed me against a tree by my neck.  “You better watch your mouth, omega.” The cat in front of me had pitch black eyes from anger and I’m sure mine were black to. The guy behind him grabbed his shoulder.  “Alpha Max will kill us for kidnapping his mate but Queen will kill us for harming her daughter. So either way we are dead if we do not get out of these woods.” “My moms a-alive?” Dan turned back to me and stood there for a second. “Yes, and she wants you back.” “I d-don’t want to go b-back” Dan looked at me angrily while the other guy looked sympathetic. Then Dan brought his hand back and knocked me out again MAX’S P.O.V “ALPHA!” Jay barged into my office and disrupted my meeting with my father and mother. “What is it, Jay. Where’s Zara?” “That’s the thing, she was taken by rogue werecats. I tried following them to save her but they covered their scent and I lost track.” I stood up and rushed out of the pack house. I shifted mid air and ran to the forest ‘Over by Granger Road. She was taken in a meadow near here.’ Jay was by my side and she mind linked me. ‘How did this happen!’  ‘I didn’t know, Alpha. I got into your car and I sped off. She got scared and ran off when I parked on the side of the road. I went to follow her but got stuck in a trap. I heard her screaming for someone to help so it made me rush to get to her more but when I went there she was already gone. I tried finding a scent but there was nothing. I’m so sorry, Alpha.’ ‘Get trackers over to this area then go home, Jay. Your assistance is no longer needed.’ ‘Yes, Alpha.’ She turned around and ran back to the pack house. I made it to where my car was and ran to the meadow. I knew the meadow because I used to go there with my sister before she left with her mate in another pack. I made it to the meadow and shifted. I saw blood and ripped clothes under a tree and I dug them up and looked closely at them. I saw a logo on a shirt and knew that it was Zara’s.  I stood up and spotted a part in the dirt that looked like something was being dragged. I shifted again and started running in the same direction. I ran so fast that everything in my peripheral was just a blur. I saw two figures in the distance and sped up past my usual speed.  I got closer and saw a knocked out Zara in one of the guys arms.  I finally reached them and jumped on top of the man that had empty arms. I ripped the guys throat out and snapped my head to the man holding my mate. “Please, Alpha Max. You must understand that the Queen would have sent the cavalry to get her back. I volunteered myself because I would never hurt you mate and I couldn’t stand another war. I already lost my family in the other one.” The man got on his knees and held out Zara for me to take her. I shifted and took Zara in my arms while getting on my knees and I unexpectedly started to release tears. “You must send me back though. If Neither of Queens warriors come back there will be a war and no one will be able to prevent it besides Zara.” “She can’t even speak properly so how do you expect her to STOP A WAR!” I stood up and turned to head off but the man stopped me.  “Please, forgive me Alpha. I will take my partner and go back to my land.”
