‘Cracked as hell.

I kept drinking liquors and made myself busy for the past three days after the incident with my mate. I needed to be alone for a while. Nobody knew what happened that night and my buddies respected my indifference and didn't bother me about it.

“Hey! It’s been three days Dude… I am starting to get worried about Alpha Liahm”, Zack Said.

“Yeah! He's been nonchalant since the party.” Said Wengs.

“The queen might have triumphed the best of him” Zack Replied.

“I don’t think it’s about the visit of his Mom. I feel something else is going on.” Daxs said while leaning his shoulder on the couch. Zack unruffled and stood up when he saw me approaching their direction, they kept quiet and greeted me with a smile.

“Hey! Alpha, How are you?. Daxs said. ---Whenever a serious or formal matter was in the vibes, they would address me as Alpha Liahm; and Liahm if the conversation is informal. ---Only my parents and buddies can call me by my name.

“Yeah! I’m just preoccupied these past few days. What’s up?” I asked but before I could continue my words, I suddenly smelt her. ----I knew she was around until the smell became sharp, I glared back and saw her walking toward me.

'Tensed, anxious, and lost in thoughts.

“Hi! ----can I have a minute with you ---- I just wanted to talk with you", she uttered with pleading eyes.

Daxs, Wengs, and Zacks got confused and looked at me in a query stance.

“I thought I made everything clear to you ----- Don’t appear before me ever again” I growled in terror.

“But Please! Give me a chance” she Argued.

“Miss, do we know you?” Zack interrupted. She then started to whine and reached for my hand but before she could grab it, I abruptly slapped her.

Dacs, Wengs, and Zack were shocked.

“Filthy woman. ----How dare you approach me after I REJECT you? ----I told you not to appear before my eyes or else I will f**kng kill you", I said in anger tone.

Dacs, Wengs, and Zack were more surprised once they heard the word ‘reject’. It seemed like they were still processing everything in their minds.

As I was about to attack her, Zack blocked my way and calmed me down. Wengs on the other hand motioned to help my mate. The impact of my slap was severe, she couldn’t even stand and blood started to fall on her lips.

“Don’t f**king help her,” I growled to Wengs. He backed-off and just looked at her. She struggled to sit and lifted her head to look at me. ----Heavy tears fell on her cheeks and her facial expression was full of persuasion and hurt.

“Please! Don’t do this. ---I DON'T accept your rejection.” She said.

Suddenly, my blood boiled. Anger started to escalate and numbness on my Cheeks, despite the battle that my heart and mind undertook, I forcefully clenched her again and started to beat her like there’s no tomorrow.

Daxs, Wengs, and Zack kept standing and looked away.

“Alpha. You’ll kill her…. Please stop!” Daxs said in pleading. I quickly grabbed Daxs and started to beat him too, blood all over his mouth and I broke his ribs and arms, he then threw his head down in submission. I stood up and rolled my eyes to Wengs and Zack. “Do you want to disrespect me too?”

They kept silent and bowed their heads in submission also. I looked at her and she was extremely scared of me, with her hand covering her mouth in shock and I can hear her heartbeat.

Pale face and horrified expression.

Later on, I was about to walk away when a hand swiftly engulfed my back, to my shocked I skipped a beat. I did not expect her to embrace me from my back.

God. How can she manage to stand up?----The bolting of electricity entered my system and butterflies swirled in my stomach. Goosebumped and Yeah! Lustful vibes all over my body.

'What the f**k!

“Please! Don’t reject me --- give me a chance ---- I will do my best… just one" she said but before she could finish her words, I cut her and yanked and pushed her, she then fell on the ground once again. Afterward I turned my back and left, she fell unconscious.

Third party POV:

Yña, spend her childhood in their Pack. She grew up full of love and care from her family. All her life, she dreamt of being with her mate like her parents. No matter what species he might be.

‘Fall in love, have pups, and then live a normal life.

Being a hybrid, her parent protected her and kept her genes unknown to others because they knew she can be a target because of her power. Her parent wanted her to become a warrior, enough to defend herself.

'No more, No less.

Her mother protected her by teaching her how to hide the scent of her power. ---Other witches could not even smell her power nor sense her being a witch or a fairy. Similar to her Vampire blood, nobody knew she has a strong gene of pure vampire blood, the original. Indeed, her mom took precautionary measures to prevent anyone to target her for a power struggle among the creatures. That's why they decided to raise her only evolving the werewolf blood in her, the WEAK scent. Her mom deliberately made her wolf scented feeble. That’s why other members of her pack bullied and treated her like fragile because of her weakness. No wonder, Liahm thought of her as a weakling.

Yna POV:

When I woke up Alice was beside my bed. Distress. Injured. Bruises all over my face and arms and this time, it's worst. I greeted my teeth when I tasted blood on my tongue.

“Yña… sweetheart… don’t move… you will hurt yourself,” Alice said.

“What happened,” I asked.

“You’ve been unconscious for five days now. Don’t worry, I already treated your wounds” She answered.

“What… five days?” Shocked. I struggled to sit down and asked her to help me find my mate. I knew I sounded miserable but all I can think about was him. I wanted to fight for the mating bond and was determined to pursue him.

“Stop it! C’mon, Yña… you need to rest.” Alice snapped me up.

“Please Alice… just help me” I begged her.

“Enough! I can’t take this madness anymore... He beaten you to death. I can’t afford to lose you from that Asshole”. She angrily said. I stopped and cried. She gave me a warm hug while patting my back full of care and compassion. She then looked me in the eyes, tears flowing down her cheeks, and said,

“Oh! Yña…. I did not expect you to be this so strong, I am so ashamed of myself….

.....When my mate rejected me. I didn’t even let him finish his sentence because as soon as I heard the word reject’, I ran away from him.”

“Alice!” I whispered.

“It’s okay! I know I was a coward. I was extremely hurt and didn’t know what to do…. But Yña, there are so many things in this world that we cannot control. And I wanted you to know that there are two things that we should do: either to reject and move on; or accept and live on.”

Her words hit me.

I paid close attention to her words until a ring of phone snapped our conversation, we ignored it at first but after the phone kept on ringing Alice decided to answer.

I nodded.’

She picked up the phone then answered. I got alarmed after she answered with an atrocity voice.

”WHAT? What Happened?..... What?... OH my GOD!... Okay….. we are going home”, she looked at me, frightened and petrified, and said, “Pack your things, we need to go home.”

“What?... what happened?” I asked.

“There was a rouge attack and your father is DEAD. Your mother is nowhere to be found.” She said while rushing to pack our things.

Numbness all over my mind. I can’t even cry or react.

'Shocked as hell.

All of a sudden, I forgot about my mate. Everything that Alice told me was still blurred in my mind and her words failed to sync in my brain as if it echoes in my head. Later on, I kept silent during our whole trip back home and kept biting my nails anxiously.

Afterward, we arrived at the Pack House, and everyone despised our presence, a disgusted gazed was thrown at us, me and Alice.

As we looked around, the Pack House, other cabins, and gardens were burnt to ashes.

God. What happened?

'Grieve, Mourn, Sorrow was all around the corner. Some warriors even gestured as if to attack us and I was bewildered.

“What happened,” Alice asked Alpha Sen in confusion. ----Alpha Sen approached us and some of the warriors stood behind him. I got frightened of their actions because they made a stance in a defensive mode as if we were an enemy and I got more disturbed when the next words that Alpha Sen declared openly.

“I, Alpha Sen of the Silver Blood Moon Pack, hereby BANISH you and your family from this Pack.....You are a family of traitors.”

Before we could ask more, the warriors motioned to guide us to leave the place and Alice surrounded her arms my shoulder then placed me behind her back, I knew she was also mystified.

As we motioned to step back, Alice abruptly grabbed the arm of Alpha Sen and closed her eyes. -----After a while, she shakes her head in disbelief and started to cry.

"No…. No... Oh… My god..”

She hugged me and face Alpha Sen and said, “Okay! We will go but please! give us the corpse of Jack. We want to give him a proper burial.” She said.
