Aunt Alice
YÑA POV
***************
“Mom, Do I really have to learn these things?”
“Oh, sweetheart, you need to train so that you can learn how to defend yourself”,
“But mom! I don’t want to become a warrior. I want to become a healer or a princess maybe.”, I said giggling.
“Oh Yña, you are my princess. A very special one.”
My parents were both warriors and hybrid, my dad, a Werewolf-Vampire and a Gamma of Silver Blood Moon Pack, our pack, while my mom was a Witch-Fairy, a former warrior, and now --- a Healer.
They always instilled in my brain how special I am. Laying the foundation that I have strong genes: a werewolf, witch, fairy, and vampire blood.
My paternal grandmother (dad’s mother) was a pure white wolf, which made my dad stronger--- 'came from the strong blood of a werewolf. And my paternal grandfather (dad’s father), was a pure original vampire.
On the other hand, my maternal grandmother (mom’s mother) was a witch, an original one; and my maternal grandfather (mom's father), a fairy. That makes me special in a supernatural world as my mother always says. ?
At the age of five, my parents commenced to train me on how to fight. They wanted me to become a strong warrior like themselves. However, If I were to choose, I wanted to become a healer like my mom or Aunty Alice. ----I hate violence.
Sunrise. I woke up early, hurriedly went to the bathroom, and did my business. Then, I choose to wear my yellow sundress and paired it with yellow doll shoes. I went downstairs to help my mother in the kitchen. We planned to prepare for the arrival of my Aunt Alice and surprised her by steering a little party for her. God. It’s been 13 years since I last saw my Aunt.
Thrilled.
“Mom, what time will Alice exactly arrive?” I said excitedly.
“Before lunchtime maybe. Don’t worry sweetheart.... she will be here soon. Just Chill out. Okay!” My mom chuckled and laughed at me.
“I am so excited to see her,” I said while mixing the flour for the cake.
“Hmm, what is that? That's mouthwatering, sweetheart”. My dad said while sniffing the cookies and brownies as he walked in our direction.
“Do you want some? I can prepare some for you?”, I said with a big smile to my dad.
"Sure". He said.
We finished our breakfast together. My dad helped us in spacing out the table and while setting up, I swiftly saw him stiffened and his eyes became sun glossy.
'Mind linking.
For those who don’t know mind linking, a werewolf can do mind linking with each other, who belong to the same pack. Through this, they can easily communicate with each other.
“Dad, what's wrong?”
“There are Rouges spotted on the border. I need to check them.” My father said while taking his leave.
“Okay, Take care darling, just make sure to come home early.” My mom said to him while I waved to him.
(Rouges are those werewolves that are generally dangerous either, they don’t belong to any pack or because they have been banished from their former pack for some grave offenses).
During lunchtime, Alice arrived. I jogged to the gate to welcome her. Tripped, but ignored it since I was so excited to see my favorite Aunt.
“Alice, Alice, Alice, Oh… My god… Is that you?” I said, almost choking on my words because of exhilaration, and jumped on her to embrace.
Smiled. Chuckled.
Alice giggled hard and embraced me back tightly, it almost made us stumbled for the exaggerated hug. ---My mom came forward and laughed at our actions.
“Hey it’s my turn Yña, Can I have my hug now sister?” she sniggered and embraced Alice.
“Oh, dear I can’t believe you are grownup now. Time flies so fast. ----You are now a lady” She said while complimenting my features.
“She was so excited for you. She kept on asking for your arrival like there’s no tomorrow.” My mom said while the three of us walking inside the house.
We spend the whole afternoon updating with one another’s’.... life stories and other things.
Later on, My dad arrived at dinner and informed us of the spotted rouges at our border.
After our dinner, I helped Alice with her luggage and headed toward the guest room.
“Okay Alice, let’s call it a day, I know you are tired,” I said while putting down her luggage.
Paused. Glared.
“I’m so happy that you're back. I hope you'll stay here for good now..... You know it breaks my heart when you’re away from us.”
“Oh! sweetheart, you're so sweet. Don’t worry. I am going to stay here for good.”
“For Real? Seriously?”
“Yes! well, my expedition was completed and I am now good to stay with your mom. With Here, with you my sweetheart Yña.” She embraced me tenderly.
“Oh, thank you, Alice. You have no idea how much I wanted you to be here. You know how boring Mom is.” I chuckled and she laughed at me.
My mom was incredibly kind. 'Well! both my parent. However, Sometimes boredom kills me being with them because most of the time they wanted me to train and do bodywork out.
Not Party People. Hate-Shopping. Dislike-Movies.
Like. ‘What the f**ck!
Alice was somewhat lively, she loves adventure; groomed herself all the time; and into fashion and makeup, things exactly like I wanted to do.
Cherished. Admired.
A sister, happy go lucky.
Above all, her therapeutic power was amazing. She was indeed a powerful witch, but not powerful as my mom because my mother was the Leader of the Crytal Coven, a Witch Hunters, the strongest kind of Witches situated at the Dark Forest.
---'(Dark forest, the land for the witches and fairies.)
“Isn't it you’re 18 years old now?”, Alice suddenly asked.
“OH, Yeah! days ago ---Okay you need to rest now. ---Let’s continue tomorrow.”, I said as I approached the door.
“I hope you find your mate soon.”
Dramatic.
I paused and looked back at her.
“Hmmm, I hope so too. I am scared but excited too.” Big sigh and smiled.
“Let’s call it a day. Good night and Sweet dreams Alice.” I said with a flying kiss.
Alice found her mate 13 years ago but was rejected promptly. 'Stupid mate. It’s quite frustrating about rejection because my other Aunties were also rejected, the eldest of them died because she was not able to handle the rejection and It’s fortunate for my mom since my dad accepted her after they found each other to be mated with one another.
Other people burlesqued our family, a family of rejected they said. I guess, being a witch comes with the curse of being rejected. Wondered. It’s pretty annoying every time I hear those things. It boils my ego and blood.
