Nikki pov
Training was finally over so i went to my room took a shower and got dressed, i wanted to ask Brian if he wanted to go with me, but i decided not to, I remembered my way to the stables, i took the path that we went to, this time i saw rabbits and dear, i love the nature, i stood there watching them nibble on grass and play around than i went on my way, smelling the flowers on the way, When i finally reached the stables, right away i felt something was off, I slowly approached the stables, the door was not open when we left, i know that Brian closed the doors before we left, who in the h3ll was in there, picked up a large stick, i didn't know how much damage it was going to cause but i'm going to try and do some if someone was in there hurting those animals, I walked in there with the stick in my hand ready to smash anyone with it, i was ready for anything, when i reached inside there was someone in there petting one of the goats, i knew right away who it was it was Lacey, she was kneeling and petting a brown young goat that looked so adorable, my heart melted when i saw that little baby, but then i was thinking, why was she in here, walking over to her i stood beside her watching her place the goat back in its pen,
“I don't know what it was, but when I came in here to look around, that little one came right up to me in the pen, I couldn't help but love on him.” Was she talking to me, why was she talking to me, what was she up to, tossing down the large stick, i was thinking if she was going to attack me i wasn't going to use a weapon on her, i wanted this to be a fair fight, I decided to head over to the donkeys, i bet that big baby was just waiting for me to give it a huge and a kiss on the head, i couldn't help it i love these animals, and of course i promised i would be back today to give him a huge hug, and there he was, he was waiting for me, i giggled as i saw him get excited, i hurried over to him giving him a big hug and a kiss on the forehead, he was happy with that, when i let go he walked off to eat, i promised him i would be back every single day just to see him, he was my big baby now,
“It's so easy for people and animals to come up to you, just please listen, i wasn't stalking you, i was hoping you would come here alone today, When i went to the infernary yesterday something happened, i found my mate, and yes this time it was my true mate so don't worry, hes one of the royal guards, when Brian and i was dating, i has the hugest crush on him, But i never done anything about it, because i was so busy trying to be the next queen, I broke up with him because i thought he would chase after me but it didn't work, i faked a mate that didn't work either, The goddess works for so many reason, and i'm glad Brian and i didn't work out, i would had never had a chance with Cos, we marked and mated last night and i moved inn, What i'm trying to say, and i don't really say this much, im sorry, maybe one day we can be friends, but i don't think it can be anytime soon,

“I'm glad you found your true mate, I don’t know what's going on with Brian and I, and with us being friends, you're correct. maybe one day but not anytime soon. If you want, we can head back together. Let's shut these doors first. I don't want to leave them open. We shut the stable doors and then walked off. I need to remember to bring some carrots or apples for the horses tomorrow.

When i woke up this morning, i wanted to head out to go train but Cos had other plans, I was so damn sore even using the bathroom hurt, I hurried to shower and get dress, i wanted to go to the stables and meet up with Nikki, i hope she would be there today, if not that i would end of wasting my time, I left the stables doors open to let her know that someone was in there, and sure enough an hour later she came inside with a huge ass stick, what in the world was she going to do with that large thing, I was holding a little goat at the time, the little thing came right up to me when in its pen, so i picked it up and loved on him, he was just so cute, placing it back into its pen, i stood up watching her walk over to the donkeys, she gave one of them a big hug and a kiss, that was adorable, I finally started talking to her, i told her maybe one day we could be friends, but not anytime soon, she agreed to it, we was walking back when Cos and Brian came walking up to us with worried looks on their faces,
‘Everything okay with the two,”
“Yeah, i think so we talked, were not friends yet, but we will get there one day,” well i was only telling the truth, Cos reached for me and i was to happy to be in his arms, he hugged me tightly and i felt so safe, i never felt this safe with Brian, Now i know why, he wasn't my mate,
‘Are you f*****g serious, You too are mates?”
“Yes Prince Brian we are, we found each other yesterday and already marked and mated, she has already moved in with me and we made our place into a home,”
‘Well congratulations, im happy for yall, Nikki would you like to go on a date with me, i have already set the place up if you would like to go see,”
"Sure, I would love to.” they walked off, i still felt a little jealous, but i shook it off, i have my mate now, i will deal with it later on,
