“Let's go,” I said to Leo who was eavesdropping on my conversation with Angela. He had “dropped by” my office with white lilies in his hands but Angela had already left for her son's school. He had come in asking for Angela and I explained she had an emergency to attend to. Leo being Leo bugged me until I told him exactly what the emergency was. He was quite concerned when I told him that Angela's son was ill. I kept forgetting that he had met the little boy.
