A book of poetry for my sweetheart

I met the love of my life at the alliance friendship center on December fourth 2004. I was with my sister's best friend at the time but soon he got kicked out that gave me a chance to talk to this amazing angel who shall remain nameless he was sitting on a black leather sofa drinking a diet Sprite I had my eye on him from day one but I was afraid to talk to him so my sister helped me along she introduced me to him I remember our very first date like it was yesterday I was babysitting one of my small cousins.then I got some money for that then I asked him for a date to my surprise he said yes. so we went to Burger King on union Ave we had some whoppers fries and cokes. he took me in his blue Corsica a very nice car we let our food get cold we sat at the first booth I knew I wanted him to be mine for life but I was scared he might not feel the same way I did but I guess I was wrong because he felt the same feelings I did now we've been together almost 20 years and I would not change any of them
