Chapter 5

Luca’s POV

“Stay safe mum,this people will have to pay for every tear I watched you shed”I said to mum burning with fresh anger as I ended the call focusing my entire attention on what we had been following

I watched her get off the car in a black dress, she looked like an angel but I must admit her dress was the perfect match for her kind of angel…a demon I thought to myself, standing next to her was a man I believed was her boyfriend

“Little miss cinderella must really be having a ball in New York”I said to Adam my driver and right hand man. “Come on Man, lets go”I said to Adam but we lost them

“Hello Miss, my sister was just here in a black dress with a man, where did they go, she is in so

much trouble miss, please help me find her, she's all I've got”I lied with so much desperation

“Oh my, let's get the cops Sir”she offered

“No please, I just want my sister”

“The garden…”she said almost immediately

“What?”

“Your sister is at the garden with that man”she added

“Thank you so much miss”

The garden was beautifully decorated from the entrance to the very place they sat

“A Romantic date is it”I smiled in disgust and anger as we hid behind one of the trees watching their every move

Next I noticed what looked like an argument and a slap followed as Penelope walked away from the scene

We followed her as she made her way for the bar once we noticed she was settled

We made for the bar as well and just then my arch nemesis walks right into my trap

“Oh hey handsome stranger!i just got dumped, how about a kiss stranger and who knows we could…”she said in an utterly drunk tone while hugging me

“Adam”I said gesturing for him to take her into the car

I hated her, so much.i mean how could I not, she was the daughter of the one who ruined my family and I was definitely going to ruin her and her family

“Marcus, do you dump a person and then kidnap them afterwards”she asked while trying to sit up

“She was so beautiful and yet so dumb” I thought to myself

“Oh! hey there sleeping beauty”I said walking in to the room

“Who are you” she yelled, I felt like gagging her but then I had to put my hand over her mouth. “Such a lunatic,” I thought to myself

“Why don't we save your voice and energy for later” I winked in a way I knew made her uncomfortable. It was all I wanted after all

She bit my hand so hard pulling me away from my thought

“Damn baby, is this the thank you I get?”

“Who are you? what am I doing here? what happened last night and how did I get here, what did you do to me?

I got so irritated and I couldn't hide it “So much for not gagging you,” I said

“Well I am Luca, and you miss came over to kiss me and said we were going to have a one-night stand, by the way, nothing happened in case you're wondering, you passed out and I brought you here”.

It was like she was thinking about so much already but I mean as long as she wasn't happy, I was fine

“Thank you so much for everything Luca, I would have gotten into trouble” she gave me a tight smile and I nodded while she made an attempt to leave

Did she really think I brought her here for a sleepover?

“Oh not so fast baby,” I said in a low voice as I grabbed her by the waist

“Let me go you freak!” she yelled

“Freak eh” I laughed

“Sweetheart, you wanted this remember plus I helped you yesterday, don't you think it's only fair I get something in return”I said throwing her on the bed

“I was f*****g drunk, why would you believe I would want to be with a stranger at that mom…”she said weakly

She kept fighting causing me to use the drugged handkerchief on her making her unconscious.

“Sweet dreams little butterfly, now I can do my business in peace,” I said as I felt a smirk form on my face

“Damn, what devil y'all created in me though”

I made sure she was home after I was done with her. But one thing she was oblivious to was that I had followed her everywhere since I found out her family was responsible for the death of my father and sister leaving just my mum and I.

The first day I saw her in her store I felt angrier because I knew it was my father’s blood she was living and I was determined to end her for it

I had the numbers of everyone she had been in contact with over the years, from her little boyfriend Marcus to her only friend Macy

I had broken into her home on the very day she stayed with her boyfriend and my team had planted cameras in her house so I can monitor her closely,from what I was seeing at this very moment

Little Miss butterfly was about to take her own life.

“Damn it girl, of course you are going to die but not because of your stupid boyfriend, I am your karma” I said out loud. “Adam!!!!!” I yelled

What I and Adam had wasn't the usual boss-employee relationship, Adam was like a part of me, a part of my family, he was my only true friend and as much as I hated to admit, he was my best friend

“Yes Luca?”he answered almost immediately

“Send our Princess, her package”I said as I watched her lay flat in anticipation of her own death. “Dummy” I thought

I watched her set aside her suicide mission after the call for her attention at the door.

“Hey there Princess”I spoke as I watched for her expression.i was definitely enjoying her torture

“Who…who are you please”she stuttered.I could hear the fear in her tone

“I’m the karma you admire Princess” her expression causing a roar of laughter from me

“Oh God,” she said fearfully

“Did you get the package I sent, it's only a get-well-soon gift for my baby, please do not die on me” I said in a mock tone as I ended the call before she could say anything

She finally turned to unbox the package and let out a very loud scream, I rewatched the scene a million times

“What the actual f**k!”
