Rosewood, probably another town where she isn’t going to stay any longer.
She was the newbie in town. She was quite used to it since she was on the move when she was little. It was her habit not to stay at a place for long.
She got to buy some school supplies for her new school, Rosewood high. She still is surprised about the fact that she was accepted to a school. She wanted to know why but as I mentioned before her mum never says it to her.
She was at a bookstore, scanning the various textbooks they had in the store. AP Calculus, AP bio, and Geography are some of the book titles that she saw.
She laughed at the moment she saw Geography because it reminded her of a video she saw on the internet. She wondered why most of the American people had no idea about geography, she was American but she had a sound knowledge of geography but she never chose that to study.
She got the course textbooks she wanted except for one. She was baffled about that. She was searching desperately but she couldn’t find it. Algebra where the hell is it?
Damn finding x was easier than finding where the hell this book is.
“Searching for Algebra?” asked a voice.
She turned to face a typical high school nerd looking at her. She just nodded; it was her habit to not make conversation with strangers. He handed her the textbook; she said a simple “thank you” and turned to go to the counter.
“don’t take that brand, it’s a pain in the ass”
She turned to see that he was pointing at the pens she took. She was now annoyed by this person. He was helping her but still, she was annoyed about the fact that he was still engaging in a conversation with her.
“I forgot my manners, hehe, I am Chris Walters. You are?”
She looked at him and replied with an underlying tone of irritation, “I am Aria Walker.”
He gave the pens that were in his hand and took her pens and told her,
“That is not going to help you.” Pointing at the chemistry textbook she had in her hand.
“after all, chemistry is one of the hardest subjects. Isn’t it? But for me, it’s a cakewalk.”
She knew this type of people; they are snobs who flaunt their intelligence and make other people inferior.
“thank you for your advice but I better get going.”
And turned away before he could say anything and went to the counter to pay for the items she got. She paid for her purchases and immediately left the store to get away from the snob.
“what a smartass”
And she was on her way back to the house they were staying in. She looked at the clock and it showed the time as 2 o’clock. She knew that her mum went job hunting. She sat on the couch and started to scroll through her phone.
She really enjoyed reading. She had a load of virtual books on her phone. She was at the moment reading harvesting heart by Jodi Picoult. The thing was she had a way with words that was indescribable.
What were you expecting? Her hobbies are whooping asses of people, hooking up, and drugs. Was that what you were expecting. I told you before. Don’t judge a book by its cover.
Right in the middle of a s*x scene her mum barges in.
“Hello, baby I’m home.”
She kept her phone on the couch and ran to her mum to hug her. I know usually, teenagers despise their parents at this age but she was always a little girl when it came to her mother.
“did you get the job?”
Her mum with a smile on her face, “yes, honey I did.”
They engaged in conversation about her day and they went to bed around 10. Aria was an insomniac so she stayed until 12. To pass the time she does something very unusual. She does complex mathematical issues as another one of her hobbies. I know what you are expecting, damn… she is a nerd but the truth is she is not a nerd. The reason she does mathematical issues because she is good at math and it was the only problem in her life that was solvable. She feels satisfied because that it makes her feel unproblematic for a second. She truly yearns for this feeling.
Next morning…
She is woken up by her mum at 6.30 am. She hated the fact that she has to go to school. Whilst she was whining, she got ready for the day. She ate her breakfast and now she is on the road walking to her new school. She turns to the left to see in the alley that 5 people were beating up on 1 kid. She turned forward ignoring the situation, what almost anyone would do in that situation, and walked forwards.
She gets a call from an unknown number, without thinking for even a split second she answered the phone.
“Hello, who is this?”
The unknown stranger replies, “I didn’t think that you would answer.”
“who is this?”
“you don’t recognize me, do you?”
She is now clearly annoyed, “if you don’t tell me, who you are I’ll hang up the phone.”
The stranger in a low tone, “I am your father.”
She was stunned, “f**k no.”
And hanged up. She thought to herself, why did that bastard that ruin my day? He left so he should stay gone. Why is he trying to contact me after 16 years? He left so why do I care?
She mumbled to herself, “he is not worth it.”
And entered the school.
The first day was a haze, nothing important. She met the queen bee, she basically welcomed her with open arms which were weird, she thought that it was her mission to expand her minions but she wasn’t interested.
She kindly declined her and now was on her way back home. She once again saw the kid getting beaten up by the group once again. She didn’t care and walked away but instantly she was reminded of the phone call of her father; sperm donor (according to her words, not mine)
She was fuming at the moment. She was so angry that she wanted to beat somebody up and then she was reminded of the alley. She walked to the entrance of the alley kept her bag on the size, broke some knuckles, and went to the fight.
She said, “it’s unfair. 5 against 1.”
One of the guys replied, “whatever, get lost.”
She smiled, “what are you trying to prove by beating up him?”
One of the guys stopped beating the kid and came in front of her looking at her in an intimidating way.
For her, it was funny how he was trying to assert dominance.
He with a tough look on his face, “Stop being a nosy little b***h and leave.”
She laughed at his gesture, his tone, and his words. He was irritated by her action and shoved her down. Now all the 5 guys' attention was on her.
She got up and patted her outfit to get rid of the dust collected in it.
One of the guys said, “aw, she is scared.”
She knew that stalling would make no good for either of us so she balled up her fist and landed a surprise punch on the face of the guy who shoved her. He fell onto the ground holding his jaw. This action made the other guys attack her.
She was thrown to the wall which slowed down her momentum a bit but she bounced back pretty quick and threw a guy to the dumpster. It was a handicap match since there were 4 against 1. The guy who pushed her first wasn’t even able to touch her. She kicked hard in the place that the sun doesn’t shine (that’s right, his p***s). He fell clutching his balls and groaning in immense pain. Another guy attacked her from behind. Such a p***y, am I right?
Five minutes later…
She patted down her body and scanned the ground to see the victims groaning in pain. She looked in the direction of the kid who was bullied and saw that he was gone. That is probably for the best.
Rosewood was a small town so the news spread everywhere.
“You guys heard the newbie beat up Damien and his crew”
“damn, she’s so strong”
“lol, Damien got beaten up by a girl.”
“Damien’s p***s is non-functional”
“Aria is a dude”
These are some of the rumors that spread around the school. She wasn’t much interested in what others had to say. Paying no heed to the rumors is lived her life in peace.
She was in her own world until she felt a touch on her shoulder which made her turn back to face a gorgeous girl who was looking at her with much interest.
