Peculiar Traverse

June 4th 1987 David waited for his new best friend Michael after school by the gate. David had recently moved here to this small town of Palma. Michael arrived and then they waited for the rest of the group. It was a small party of 5 (including the newly arrived David). Michael was the oldest aged 14, he was a know it all. He was the type of person who would argue with you if he thought you were wrong, even if you weren't, but that was what David liked about him and they became good friends quite fast. Then arrived Luca, Andrew and George. Andrew and George were best of friends and inseparable. They grew up with each other and would go everywhere with each other. Luca was everyone's friends. He knew everybody in town. He was a peoples person and everyone liked him. When everybody arrived David decided they should take the shortcut through the abandoned hospital in the woods. The hospital was a very dark place with many rooms. It was abandoned as some believed there to be deep secret buried within its walls. But the party was not afraid of anything as long as they stuck together. Once the passed through, David left for home and immediately went to the backyard and began to draw. For he was a very good artist and could draw anything he saw, but did not want anybody to know, afraid that they would make fun of him as the town weirdo who dreams of becoming great in the world. His family arrived here in Palma not knowing anybody and nobody knew why they left their home to begin a new life here in Palma, but little did David know that life in Palma wasn't anything he could ever have imagined!
