THE GAMES ALICE has prepared are typical games played by juveniles. She starts off with a classic truth or dare, but with a twist, and all of us have consented to whatever dares Alice has created if we choose to do a dare. She has a stack of cards prepared for the game on a marbled table. The pile of cards is facing down, and none of us have an inkling on what they entail. I am both nervous and excited because this is my first time of doing this game. It sounds sad now that I think about it. Belatedly, I realize how much experiences like these I’ve lost during my youth. It makes me sad, and perhaps, angry at my parents for putting me in such a terrible position.
