CHAPTER FIFTY-FOUR

It's been a long day, so I've been cleaning the living room and getting ready for bed when Janina came in very drunk.
“Hey, are you okay?” I asked her.
She smiled at me sadly and nods. “Yeah, is Jess here tonight? Can we have a drink before you go to bed?” She pleads.
“Off course. I’ll just go and call Jess.” I turned my back on her to knock on Jess's door but I turned to her again to see if she was really okay, she immediately looked at me with a very sad smile.
“Are you sure you are okay, Janine?”
She nods, “I am now.”
It is a weird thing to say but I think she just had a very bad day.
