CHAPTER NINETY-EIGHT JULIE When we got home to the apartment we were greeted by silence and darkness inside the house. Sydney is gone, and thank god I don't know how to explain my bruises to her. I immediately remembered our first day at our house. The two of us were so happy that it seemed like it would never end. Both of us looking forward to the future we will face together. It is funny how years or days even or maybe just seconds can change the life of someone. I thought to myself, I'm still thankful for the problem I faced then with my parents, because if it wasn't for what I went through, I wouldn't be this strong for H and me.
