I stood at the base of the stairs as Selene disappeared on the spot. I stared at the group of wolves who continued baring their necks in submission. I didn’t know what to do, so I allowed my Alpha tone to slip out, ordering them what I needed them to do.
“We need to find my mate. Who knows where she is?”
Stephan stepped forward. “I can’t say for certain, but we have an underground bunker in the woods. The Alpha takes our hostages there sometimes to…erm… work… them for intel.”
