My lips are shut as I couldn’t even find the proper words to form as a response. There isn’t even a single word that comes out from any of the people in this room. Everyone is just as shut as me after the revelation from Clyde, which I wasn’t even sure if is the truth. No one dared to come in between the conversation as if it was our only time to shine now.
Those three words keep repeating in my mind like a broken toy that is able to release any sound. I wasn’t sure how to react. All I know is that I am speechless, confused, shocked and even in denial because of what I have heard. There is this feeling that I shouldn’t be bothered by it so much because it might turn into something opposite at the end, but partly, I want to believe it as well.
