Chapter Five

The next day they went for lecture as usual. When it was Mikayla third lectures of the day, she entered the lecture room looking for a vacant seat beside anyone dat looks friendly she was still looking for a place to seat when she heard someone call her name. She turned to the direction of the voice and she saw Nathan. "so he's also taking this class" she thought. She walked up to him and sat next to him. "hey" he said "hi" she replied. "it's such a surprise seeing you here, I never knew you were also taking anatomy" he said. she told him that's because she didn't tell him with a rude tone .Nathan chuckled "she still got an attitude" he muttered under his breath. "did you say something" she asked him. He smiled and said nothing. Soon after the lecture was over, Mikayla was about standing up from her seat when Nathan said "Mikayla, I would love for us to know more about each other that's if it's ok with you". She thought about it for a while "No offense but I'm not really looking for a friend okay and I am also not giving you my number yet". "pls consider the request and also how are we supposed to become friends then if we won't be able to chat or call one another" Nathan asked. "take it one step at a time besides you aren't my friend yet" she said. They talked for about 10 minutes with Nathan leading the conversation asking Mikayla about her likes, dislikes, all there's to know about a friend. They had to end their conversation because Mikayla said she was supposed to meet up with her best friend.

Mikayla went to where she and Leah were supposed to meet up. Leah was already there "where have you been" Leah asked then Mikayla told her what happened. Leah started asking all sorts of question like "is he cute,was he nice, would he make a good boyfriend, do u like him, when are you guys going on a date". "Did You Not Hear What I Just Told You I Didn't Give Him My Number "Mikayla repeated loudly and slowly hoping for her friend to get her point. "Why" Leah asked. "There's no really sense in me giving him my number since I don't like him but he's kinda cute" Mikayla said. "Then just tell him you are not interested in the friendship" Leah advised her."Nah that seems harsh" Mikayla just said. Leah shrugged "do whatever you think is right but since you said he's cute try considering it" and after that they talked about different kind of things.
