Chapter Nine

Mikayla first and last relationship lasted for six years before he travelled out of the country. She called his number repeatedly but it wasn't reachable then after a week she got a call from him, she was so happy to finally hear his voice until he said he was not interested anymore. She cried for two weeks. He was the first guy she ever loved, they had even planned their future together. They had been together since high school but now she is over him. "what was his name" Aiden asked Mikayla. "Bryan" she replied and after that she asked Aiden about his own past dating experience. He said he had never had a serious relationship before. "Why ,if I may ask". "Sorry but can we talk about it another time" Aiden sad. "no problem" Mikayla noticed his uneasiness so She changed the topic. "Do you know when my brother is coming back" She asked Aiden.

"I think he is planning on staying with Layla for today also"he said. They were still having a chat when she received a call from Nathan. "Good morning " He greeted. "Good morning ". "so I called yesterday but a guy picked up telling me you were asleep and I shouldn't disturb you anymore" he said. "a guy picked up the call" she asked to be sure glaring at Aiden. Aiden smiled knowing that Nathan had told her that he picked up the call. "I will call you back, give me about 30 minutes I want to deal with something" she said.

"you picked up my call " she asked staring at Aiden . "yh, it kept on ringing continuously" Aiden replied "what if he thought you were my boyfriend" Mikayla said still staring at Aiden. Aiden said "so,if he thought I was your boyfriend he will stop disturbing you or isn't that what you wanted" . "why would I want him to stop talking to me " Mikayla asked . "Let's just stop this conversation here" Aiden said and he left
