"nrhhh!!! nrhhh!!!" exclaimed Mirable, groaning in pain and struggling to ease it while she's sleeps. Mrs. Williams rushes into her room, hoping on waking her up. Mirable struggles for breathe as she begins to hold her neck, glowing in red "Mi.. Mirable, darling please wake up It's me your mother wake up from this usual nightmare of yours..." she said calling an Ambulance. Two weeks later, Mirabel wakes up and finds her mother asleep, head rested on the bed where Mirabel laid. Her arm cross above her head. Mrs. Williams suddenly wakes up when she notices her daughter leg moving. "Darling you are awake..." she said looking into her brown eyes. "Mum why!!!...what are we doing here and...tell me it didn't happen again" Mirabel said. "Darling who did you encounter this time who..." Mrs. Williams said being distracted by the Nurse coming in with a tray. "oh she's awake already. Hi dear my name is..." she said interrupted by Mrs. Williams asking for the doctor. "Alright I...will get her right away" the nurse said leaving. "Mum we need to leave." said Mirable, struggling to get up. "But Darling why? " asked Mrs Williams in surprise. She gets up slowly as her mother refrained from her. "Lies Luzariod you lie. She's not yours and never will be. You are dead". said Mrs Williams gradually moving away. "I shall use her as the key in unlocking me from this enchanted prison. And you will be the first I shall encounter when am free". Said Mirable.. She stretch's her hand towards a knife far from her on the table. "Darling please put the knife down". begged Mrs Williams. "This is going to be so beautiful". Mirable said as the knife levitated up with with sparks of red lightning. She suddenly falls down feeling weak. Her mom struggles to hide the knife under the desk, but it kept hurt her because it was hot. Two weeks later, Mirabel rides down off street to school, on her bicycle. She parks, at the parking spot for bike and struggles to fix the chain of her bike tyre. "Hi need help?" said Jack, taller than Mirabel, same class, dark brown curly hair, bright bluey eyes, dressed in a black T-shirt jean and jacket and a back pack hanged on his shoulders. "Hi... who .. who are you?" she asked Clearing Her dark brown hair off her face. "Am Mirabel nice meeting you" she said giving an obnoxious look at his face. "oops! Shes distracted by the bell and leaves with him for class. During the break period, Mirable left for the cafeteria to get her lunch. She got her self a milk shake, some french frice and a little ketchup, also taking a sit at the corner. Jack comes in, sights Mirabel and walks up to her with his meal in his hand. "Hey Mirable". He said taking his sit. "Hey Jack what are doing here?". She asked taking her milkshake. "Well…I thought we could be friends. I mean what do you think". He said feeling nervous. "Ha!!!" She exclaimed while laughing. "What's so funny?" Asked Jack. "Am so sorry but literally I have no friends, just me, myself and… I". She said stuffing a piece french fries into her mouth. "Then let's be friends hmn!" Said Jack. "Oh! Jack did they send you to get something from me. I know you are one of them right, those bullies behind us, they sent you right". She said becoming so serious. "No..no it's not what you think I don't even know them am new here by the way". He said. Suddenly there was silent between them for a while. Mirable eyes becomes bright red and Jack eyes becomes bright blue. They both suddenly dorge the upcoming spitball from the bullies along the other side. "How did you know that, it…was coming? Asked Jack taking a look at the spit ball on the wall. "I should be asking you that too". Said Mirable leaving in confusion. "Mirable!!!" He called her severally but she walked pass true the door. Mirable got home that day feel stressed out and worried. She looked at her self in her mirror for a while and stepped backwards a little. She stretched out her hands towards the mirror, closed her eyes and began to levitate it up with her mind. She opened her eyes and saw that little part of her hair started turning red. Her eyes also turning red. Quickly she let go of it in fear, making a loud broken sound, that attracted her mom. "oh darling what is going on here". she said walking closer to the broken mirror. "Am a...monster" said Mirable taking a step backwards. "No you are not darling...". said Mrs Williams walking towards her and siting her down. "Then what am I. I have no friends in school just because I almost killed a student last semester. What is wrong with me..." said Mirable sobbing. "Darling there's something you need to know". Said Mrs Williams adjusting herself closer to her. "And what is that" said Mirable taking a look at her mother. "That you are special". said Mrs Williams rasing Mirabel chin upright. "Maybe you are right come....come on". said Mirabel getting up and pulling her mother up. She walks towards the yard outside. The yard was so beautiful, green fresh grasses and a little wooden canopy to relax when the sun shines. "Mom please stay over there" Mirabel said. "What are we doing here". said Mrs Williams adjusting her pyjamas. Mirable stretched out her had towards a parked lorry along on the street. "Darling what are you doing stop". Mrs. Williams said walking closer to her, but Mirable used her telekinesis to push her back. "Mum just watch me control my power". She said using her telekinesis to raise the lorry a up. Said Mrs. Williams slowly taking a step towards her. "Mum!!! I am sixteen already, when I was ten, I almost killed you but six years from now I can control it". Said Mirabel walking towards her. He exclaimed in pain, as his pijamas kept burning in flames. He quickly enter a portal ? and comes out out wet. "Mum am so sorry". Said Mirable sobbing and kneeling down . "Oh! Dear". Mrs Williams said running towards her. "Wait you don't know…" Jack tried to stop her but she went on consoling her daughter. Three weeks later. At school, Jack is having his lunch at the corner of the cafeteria and Mirabel joins him. "Hey peanut head" she said taking a piece of his bread. "What brings you here bunny!!!". He said taking a look at her. "Alright I just wanted to thank you for saving my mother's life. If you were not there I don't know what I would have done to her. Besides how do you have powers are you like me?". She asked being confused. "Mirable we are the same but different powers. I do not belong here but am here for a purpose". He said taking a deep breath and continues. "the gods blessed some earthly children with gifts...like powers. I can open portals ?. And you..." he asked. "Nice there are others like us but not here in Mugata a place outside earth, that nurtures people like us how to use our gifts and prepares us for earth.
