Get Up and GO!

Preface…How many times have you said YOU HATE YOUR LIFE! More times then you care to admit. But what if you were offered the chance to run away and start a new life. A better life. Your dream job, fabulous home, a sweet ride. A whole new you! The catch...there's always a catch. You have to leave right now. No goodbyes. Leave everyone you know and love behind. If I offered you this chance, would you be ready to...Get Up and Go! This is the premise for the book I've written. It follows the lives of 4 people that accept this offer on the fictional Reality TV show...Get Up and Go! Originally, I was trying to produce a Reality TV show with this same premise called Get Up and Go! The show would offer a group of contestants the chance to live a dream life. Dream Home, Dream Job, New ride, etc. Potential candidates would write in to us explaining why "they" are worthy of this opportunity. When we surprise them with the offer, (in person) they can have their dream life... BUT they have to leave right then and there. No goodbyes. With the prospect of never seeing their family and friends again. (Kind of like witness protection.) If they break the rules, they lose everything. We would film their new lives and check in with their old friends, family, etc. Well... When I pitched this concept to a producer friend, he said it was too costly to produce as a Reality TV show. BUT, he said it sounded like a great movie. So I wrote a screenplay. I am currently trying to get funding to make the movie. But, it's a tough road. So, to help get funding for the movie, I took the screenplay and with the great help of a professional writer name Mitchell Duran, I turned it into the book you about to read. Mitch, I could NOT have done it without you. Hopefully the book can create buzz to help fund the movie. Eventually one day, I actually still want to make the Get Up and Go Reality Television show.
