Chapter 6

'Thank you princess' said Maverick cheerfully.

He seems like such a nice but flirty man. He seems like a lady's man. It's nice of him to thank me for his meal though. Most customers we have here are usually non- challant and mean. I respond to his greeting with a smile and walk away to resume my work. I can't help but stare in awe as the aloof guy eats his meal. He eats so majestically. I bet he's from a wealthy home.

'Time to go Maverick' he said

"I'm not even done yet man" replied Maverick with a mouthful of french toast.

The aloof guy didn't even bat an eyelid before leaving his cousin behind. Maverick had to get up in a hurry to catch up but he made sure to drop a tip before heading out. He's such a nice guy.

'Seems like you have a thing for that quiet guy's teased Charlotte.

'That's definitely not true'

'If it's not true then explain why you kept staring at him like you wanted to swallow him alive'

'That's not true Charl, I was just admiring his beauty'

'I agree with you on that one, he's such an eye candy'

'What the hell are you guys chattering about, get to work now' says Dan, our boss.

Charlotte and I get to work as more customers storm into the restaurant to have their meals.I know today is going to be a busy day as the restaurant gets full in less than two hours. Sigh...
