Chapter 10

I can't believe I'm back to the place I dreaded most. I knew they would find me but not so soon. Emily's dad was abducted by my grandma's men and they threatened her with his life. I just couldn't let Emily suffer for my mistakes so I had to go back.

'You are finally back you ungrateful bastard' said Anna immediately I walked into the living room.

I kept quiet because I knew that the worse was yet to come.

'Have you gone deaf' demanded Ava

'Tie her hands to her back Mathew' ordered my grandma Anna.

Mathew quickly got a brand new rope from a chair nearby and followed her orders.

'Could you pass me my whip Ava' said Anna with a mischievous grin on her face.

'That would be my pleasure' replied Ava as she got the rope happily.

I knew that whip too well. It has been used on me multiple times when my grandma said I did something wrong. She called it the 'correction whip' when I was younger and was specially made for me. She never used it on anyone else.

I closed my eyes and waited for the worse to happen.

Grandma Anna used the whip to strike Clare all over her body with no mercy. She continued hitting her till she lost her strength. Each strike was given with gravous anger. Clare just stood still with her eyes shut as she was whipped all over her body.
