This was the nth time Max shook his head seeing his friend who'd gone crazy. He is wiping the already-cleaned kitchen slab for the 100th time now.
"What's wrong with this man?"
"How would I know?" Carol asked, shrugging off her shoulder.
"Did I ask you?" Max looked lazily, earning a scoff from her, "Didn't you ask just now?"
" Hehehe, he must have met his Doctor Friend. He always behaves under the weather whenever she happens to be around him. " Astha, the short, bubbly girl, said, who had entered by then.
"Doctor friend? Oh, are you saying she is that girl whom he encountered in the bathroom?" Carol squealed loudly in excitement, earning a shh and jeez from the listener.
"Don't be loud. He is here. Do you want to get killed with his signature knife?"
Max shut her up with his hand," Alex was perplexed when he saw him annoyed. That was the first time maybe we had seen something. I mean that it was huge. Chef Rahas Shrivastav being annoyed isn't a small thing. See, I bet he is thinking about her now?"
"Awww"
"Really? I'm rooting for them.
"Me too"
"Don't you think...."
"So loud." Rahas's monotone voice cleared the fancy air.
Three looked at the owner, who started to clean the already clean slab again and gave an unbelievable look at each other.
" Boss, Aren't you tired of cleaning the same area again and again? I can even see my face now. Stop it, or you will remove the paint from it. Give it to me, I will do this for you. " Astha slightly pushed Rahas away, who just walked out without saying anything.
"He's so done. " Carol sighed at her boss's nature. " Is he going to be single all her life? "
" Why are you worried about his love life? You should think about Daniel. That poor boy has been apologizing to you for a week and kept coming to see you on every eve, but you refused to meet him. " Max, the boy next door, rolled his eyes and criticized the girl whom he thought had been unfair towards her fiancé.
" Why would I meet him when I don't want to? " Carol said and took her chance to escape from further questioning.
" How about you keep your foul mouth shut next time? " Astha said before she followed Carol.
" Why do girls take things so seriously? Isn't it her fault that she kissed another guy when she was already engaged to Daniel? " Max rolled his eyes and took a note in his mind about the universal girl's problem. "Better stay away"

Rahas entered his room, shutting the door behind him. Exhausted as he was, he decided to take a shower to clear his messy mind.
Why is she so irritating? She is a doctor and she is so clumsy.
He could not help but think about the healthy girl who was not really into healthy food.
He remembered how she was putting her hair strands behind her, with the sun shining in her face and causing her brows to meet. He stood in front of her, blocking the sun as she haphazardly gulped her food.
Her innocent demeanor, which was unexpected for a girl of her caliber, made him giggle.
" What the hell? Get a grip of yourself, Rahas. " He shook his head not to let the thought of her get in his head.
Before he was engulfed in it again, an unexpected call caught his attention.
"I told you don't call me ever again."
" Do you think you can get away from me? You refused to pay the debt and left the city without informing the authorities. Don't you know the consequences? " The man in a deep voice asked.
" My father has already cleared his debt. "
" He's dead. That doesn't mean the debt can be settled, "the man from the loan shark continued," Your father killed himself so that he could skip the consequences. That bastard should have known we never left any stone unturned. "
" He didn't kill himself. He could not survive the surgery. I have the settlement letter, so don't play any dirty tricks. "
" Fine, I will find you soon. Let's settle our matter in person then. "
Dealing with debts was no less than a scary nightmare. He could not forget the times when debtors used to bash into the house breaking things and even threatening to kill his parents. His father was a factory worker, but an accident put him in a paralytic state. He couldn't do anything and was physically and mentally exhausted. His mother was not ready to handle every mishap on her own. Day by day, they fell into more debt and were caught by loan sharks.
She fell helpless. But she had to stay strong for the young boy. So she endured. She left the young boy at his brother's house, worried about his future well-being. She didn't want him to grow up in that environment.
After that, what happened he doesn't know, but on the day of the funeral of his father, his mother told him that his father cleared all his debt before dying, so his son could live his life without any worry.
He clenched his phone and threw it on the ground. Disturbed and depressed, he marched towards his house's kitchen, picked up his signature knife. He wanted to vent his anger on something, but he didn't know how. He wanted to scream and let everyone know how unhappy and resentment he had been carrying along. He left the knife and calmed himself. Emotions can be overpowered. They should not be led by blindness and anger, rather by being silent and distant.
As he was thinking about how to escape, he looked outside the window. His memory took him to the times he's yearning to live in now. He picked his jacket from his jacket stands and took a stroll outside under the vast sky.
The scented and fresh air in an environment blessed by nature was healing his heart and calming his nerves. He took a long breath and filled his lungs with a pleasant essence that was soothing into his unseen wound. He was walking by the bridge when he saw a girl standing on the guardrail. Thinking she was about to jump, he ran and held her waist. His sudden action alarmed the girl and a loud yell broke the whisper of night.
" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA "
