Chapter 46They'd slept in late the morning after the gala, having returned to their hotel around midnight. The girls and the Ortega boys had made it until about eleven-thirty and all seemed to hit a wall around the same time. The boys were seven and nine, and totally loved the girls, even with the three year age difference.
Dylan invited them to a Texas BBQ, steaks and chilli for that afternoon. The kids were swimming in an above ground pool and the women were in the kitchen organizing for their meal. Sean and Dylan prepped the BBQ and set up the picnic table.
Dylan reached into a cooler and handed Sean a beer.
“Thanks. You've got a great property here,” Sean said.
