The synergy in the room was electrifying. Two hundred people filled the room. There was an open bar at one end, with a stage on one side. A three piece jazz group were playing background music. The twenty-five round tables with seating for eight each were covered with white tablecloths and a multi-coloured floral display sat in the centre of each. Some people were standing in small groups chatting, but most were already seated.
