Chapter 5Friday evening, Los Angeles, California The number rang and rang, just as it had done the other dozen times Sean called Georgia's cell phone. A frown creased his forehead. Why isn't it going to voicemail, or telling me that the cell customer I'm calling isn't available? He called operator assistance and asked for the telephone number of her hotel in Houston. Ringing through to the desk, he asked for Georgia's room. There was no answer to that phone either. Sean hung up and looked at the time on his cell phone.
