THE END OF A NEW BEGINNING. As Isabella stepped out of her father’s car. She received a text from an unknown number. “Meet me at the coffee shop.” The message instructed. ''Is this person trying to play games with me '' she hissed under her breath and walked towards the coffee shop. As Isabella walked into the coffee shop, her eyes scanned the room hoping she could spot who this mystery person was, but there was no one she recognized. "Isabella?" a low voice called out. She hesitated before opening her mouth to answer. "Yes?" The figure used her fingers to call her over, and Isabella dragged her feet to the figure's table. "So, you're the one who's been texting me," Isabella said, sounding braver than she felt. The woman smiled, her eyes shining with a knowing look. "I'm the one who knows the truth about your precious boyfriend." Isabella’s instincts warned her to get up and run, but she wanted to tell Mom the truth about her boyfriend, or her curiosity would be the death of her. "What do you mean?" The woman leaned in, her voice was barely above a whisper. ''He's not who you think he is, Isabella. And if you marry him, you'll be walking into a trap, that leads you to a life similar to hell.'' “Listen to me lady, I am not interested in your little childish games, it’s either you talk to me or I will make sure the police arrest you.” Isabella threatened. The woman pulled out a folder from her bag and placed it across the table to Isabella. "See for yourself," she said, her eyes never leaving Isabella's face. Isabella was hesitant, her eyes darted from the folder on the table to the woman seated across the table. She finally took a deep breath, her fingers trembling as she opened the folder. Inside, she finds photos of her boyfriend in compromising positions with another woman. The same woman he had sworn he didn't know when Isabella had asked him about her. Her Sebastian, the man she had trusted blindly for five years, had been lying to her face all along! She felt like the ground beneath her feet was slipping away, she felt like the whole world was crashing down on her. “How…how is this…what’s happening?” Isabella mumbled, her eyes stinging with unshed tears. The woman leaned back in her chair, an unreadable expression on her face. ''He's been seeing her for years, Isabella. And it's not just a fling. He's planning to abandon you at the wedding altar. No one knows why…maybe he will hurt the house or for some other reasons known to him…but one thing is clear, what he is up to…will break you.'' The woman’s words were like a punch to Isabella’s gut. Her blood ran cold, her chest felt tight, and her throat felt tight, she could not think, her whole body went numb from shock, all she could do was stare at the photos, her heart shattering into a million tiny pieces each passing second. The woman's voice was beginning to sound distant, but Isabella could hear every word she said. ''You deserve better than a cheat, Isabella. Don't let him ruin your life. Find someone or something to distract you from Sebastian, he will try to make some excuses, but it is up to you to decide if you want to make or mar your life.'' With that, the woman got up and walked out of the coffee shop, leaving Isabella alone. Isabella sat there, her whole body numb as she tried to process the information she had just received. She couldn't move, couldn't think. All she could do was stare at the photos. Her mind slowly drifted to every moment she'd shared with her boyfriend. His lies, his deceit, his betrayal, - it all crashed down on her already weak shoulders. She felt like she was nothing but a cursed creature. Why did life decide to show her only its bad side? She sat down there, too broken to even cry, all that filled her now was anger and resentment for all who made her life hell. She stood up, her whole body shaking with rage. She walked out of the coffee shop and flagged down a taxi. She gave the driver Sebastian’s address, as she thought of ways to confront him. As the taxi pulled up to his apartment, Isabella took a deep breath. She was done being used and dumped. It was going for her to take over her life and call the shots in her own life. She stormed out of the taxi, folder in hand, and marched up to his door. She banged on it, almost as if she would break the door down at any given minute. The door opened, and Sebastian stood before her, a look of surprise on his face. "Isabella, what's wrong?" She slammed the folder into his chest, her eyes blazing with rage. You know exactly what's wrong. You've been lying to me, cheating on me. It's over." Sebastian was shocked, to say the least, and he opened his mouth to speak, but Isabella raised a finger, signaling that he kept his peace and silence. And with that, she turned and walked away, leaving him standing there, shocked and guilty. Isabella walked away from the apartment, the folder still in her hand, her mind reeling with the broken dreams she once had. She couldn't hold back the tears anymore, and they rushed down her face like a broken dam. She walked for hours, lost in her grief until her legs gave up on her, and she finally collapsed onto a bench, filled with grief. She wept for the marriage that had already ended before it even started. As she sat there, a stranger approached her, with an unreadable expression on the stranger's face. ''Hey, are you okay? Do you need some help?'' The voice was cold…but with a hint of concern. Isabella looked up, her eyes red and swollen, and shook her head. ''I... I just found out my fiancé was cheating on me. We were supposed to get married in two days.'' The stranger's face remained the same, and he sat down beside Isabella. ''Oh, that’s…, I'm so sorry. That's devastating.'' Isabella has her face in her hands, her body shaking as she sobs. ''I feel like such a fool. I thought he loved me, but it was all a lie...'' The stranger brought out a handkerchief and gave it to Isabella. ''You're not a fool. You love with your whole heart, and that takes courage. Well, I guess you have learned your lesson, don’t love…that S H I T hurts.'' Isabella nodded… this stranger seemed oddly familiar if only she could point a finger at who he was. She took a good look at his face…. “You!” She exclaimed, her eyes wide in shock.
