Chaos POV
Not long after Skye fell unconscious, she vanished yet again. At first, of course, this panicked me. I worried she had fallen into the enemy's hands or, worse, she had touched one of the relics. None of us knew how that may affect her, for all of them held great power, and some sealed away held dark power. But after a moment, I felt her through the bond and had a feeling she was ok wash over me. That provided me with a little relief, although it was just a feeling. I trusted it enough to know she was not with the enemy.
"We need to install a tracker chip on Skye, seeing that she likes to do this disappearing act," Colson said. Typically, he was joking, but this time he was clearly serious.
"I guess that would not be such a bad idea," Rain, her mother, said.
