"Why did you do that?" I ask Mia when we settle down in the class.
"I don't even know." She looked pretty shocked herself. "One moment, I was sympathizing with you for the fact that he's all alone, and the next, I was brewing in anger because of how he hurt you." She explains. "I seriously don't know what happened." She turns to me. "You see how I'm shaking?" She holds out her hand. "I literally have goosebumps." She shivers.
"How did your brother beat the hell out of him without being scared?" She asks me.
"He was probably blinded by anger. I don't think he had the time or space in his mind to be scared."
"Probably true." She agrees. "Hope he didn't say anything though." She continues. "You know you were with him after I walked away. I hope he didn't say he'd kill me right?" I ask
