At least everything made more sense now. I now really know why Matt is so closed off. Although he hasn't told me indepth of the whole thing, I can understand him to an extent.
I'd have broken down if I lost everyone. I would never talk to an outside world again in fear of losing them. But if I finally fall in love, I'd try to do anything possible to make them stay at my side. I wouldn't want them to leave me because I've gone through so much, losing one more person might actually damage me.
"Hey Mia." She was by her locker when I called her name. She glances at me, and I wave at her, and walk towards her.
"You look happy." She points out when I stopped beside her locker.
