Preparations for the coronation were in full swing. Emmaline and Mary were busy setting the schedule with the staff when her phone rang. She knew it was Aiden, but she couldn't answer so she shot him a quick text saying she'd call later.
Mary had been doing all the talking but turned the floor to Emmaline for food details. Emmaline started to list the food options for the banquet, blood-based soups, and drinks for the vampires; salad and meat for the humans. Emmaline wanted to invite Aiden, he would be the first werewolf to attend an Antebellum coronation, but she knew he was busy for his own ceremony.
