The arena erupted as Emmaline entered the field. The previous fight had been particularly bloody so the workers were scrambling off the field and the ground was soaking wet.
The opponent was about the same size as Emmaline, which made her a bit warier. Her opponent was petite and pretty, like a fairy. To be able to beat someone larger than you showed you have fighting skills beyond size or strength.
The two circled each other, sizing each other up. Emmaline made the first move and charged the fairy. The fairy made a move to dodge Emmaline, but Emmaline was faster and moved to tackle the fairy. They collided and both of them fell into the mud.
