Strange Text Made Me Go Back to Orphanage

Charlotte Grant's husband and her best friend were both in the Navy, stationed in the waters of Gesmain year-round. The three of them had grown up together in an orphanage, relying on each other as their main source of support. One day, Charlotte suddenly received a text message from an unknown number. "Charlotte, I'm you from ten years in the future. You have to get to the orphanage right now." When she first received the message, she thought it was just someone playing a prank. To her surprise, another message from the same number arrived seconds later. "I know this sounds crazy, but if you don't go, you're going to regret it forever." Driven by a strange impulse, Charlotte went to the orphanage. Just as she stepped out of her car and walked toward the large pine tree, she saw her husband, Raymond Brennan, embracing a woman not far away. That person was her best friend, Sarah Allen. Her breath hitched, and she froze in her tracks, completely stunned. Raymond and Sarah had done nothing but bicker since they were children. There was no way the two of them could be together. They were both her family. Charlotte tried to convince herself otherwise, but her legs were so stiff that she couldn't take a single step forward.
