Mouth Peice

As soon as they come out of the auditorium a group of four people pounced on Jess hugging her. The group had a girl and three boys. All five started jumping and screaming all happy like celebrating something. Ethan and Ivan were surprised with the sudden euphoria around them. Their pupils dilated seeing the five hopping and shouting like kids. Ethan was mesmerized seeing Jess. "She's so different from all the girls. I have never met someone be so cute and drop dead gorgeous at the same time" Ethan thought to himself. But the smile on Ethan's face dropped as soon as he saw Jess being lifted by a guy.

"Jess your a sweetheart. You saved all of us today. I'm so very much grateful to you. You are the best" the guy who lifted Jess shouted in an exciting voice. Ethan fisted his hand trying to control his anger. He was giving dearth glares to the guy for lifting Jess but then he couldn't do anything especially when she looked so happy and comfortable with him. "Who is he? Is he her boyfriend?Ethan thought. Jess started laughing "Oh my god Paul put me down before Angel sees us. I'm sure you don't want to have a bad impression on her. After all we landed in trouble for you wanted to impress her right". Paul put her down frowning at her snide comment. "Your absolutely right Jess, it's all because of this i***t's crush on that girl that we had to deal with all this. But it's true that you did save us today" the girl said gratefully. "Nevermind Becca, that's what friends are for right. We save eachother when in trouble" Jess said smiling at all of them. "Stop pulling my legs guys. I don't like her anymore" Paul whinnied making the rest giggle looking at his face.

"Chuck it off Paul. Now come on Jess let's go to the stadium, Aston's going to treat us for the play's success" another guy tried to pull her hand. "Sam, stop. I can't be coming with you guys. Principal madam asked me to accompany Mr. Parks. I will have to be with him throughout the fest" Jess said making a sad smile to Sam and rest of the group. "Damn it Jess, we were all really looking forward to have a blast today. Now without you we don't even feel like going to the fest" Aston said sadly. "Awww, don't be sad guys. You all enjoy today. We'll have another party some other day" Jess tried to cheer them up even though her own face looked sad.

Ethan and Ivan were watching them from long time. Having had enough Ivan whispered in Ethan's ear "Mr. Parks why don't you ask Jessica's friends to join us as well. She looks pretty upset". Ethan looked at Ivan before turning to Jess. "She was excited a few minutes ago but now her face looks sunken. I don't know why but I want to see her excited self. I think Ivan's suggestion is correct" Ethan thought to himself. He nodded at Ivan. "Ok guys, why don't you all join us" Ivan said. Everyone were excited once again. "It would be wonderful" Sam chirped. Jess turned to Ethan "Mr. Parks I hope your ok with it. I don't want to bother you" she hesitantly. "Nope. I don't have a problem. It's much better than all the sad faces" Ethan tried to joke. Shock would be an understatement to describe Ivan's state to see his heartless boss trying to c***k a joke. A smile made way to Jess's face warming Ethan's heart. "Ivan and Mr. Parks I'll first introduce you to my friends. This is Becca, Sam, Paul and Aston" Jess said pointing to each one of them. Ivan smiled at each while Ethan just nodded.

As they were nearing the stadium a girl in cast around her hand walks up to Jess. "Congrats Ms. Jessica Adams you have successfully snatched someone's role. I'm sure you must have enjoyed taking my place and being appreciated" the girl in cast sneered. "Just shut up Angel. If not for Jess we were all doomed today. That to just because of your stupidity" Paul shouted at Angel. "Shut up Paul. I Don't Need a Mouth Piece. I know to speak for myself" Jess snapped at Paul taking Ethan and Ivan by surprise seeing her snapping at the one who supported her. Ethan looked at her friends who were giving 'I knew it' look to Paul.

Jess turned to Angel "As a matter of fact you knew very well that you didn't deserve the role. Yet we gave it to you just because Paul insisted. And for your information I'm being appreciated for my work which I fully deserve. I don't need your permission for what I do". "How dare you?" Angel was cut in the middle "Ok, if your so desperate to create a scene and seek attention I might as well reveal the story behind your cast. How about that? I'm sure your going to get all the attention you always strived for" Jess said in a dangerous voice with a lopsided smile. Angel's face paled hearing Jess. She was scared to death knowing Jess's temper. She knew as a matter of fact that Jess was dead serious and her one wrong move would destroy her total reputation in the University. Angel just walked away silently. "Wow! I thought she's innocent and childish but now, oh my God she's so deadly. She has a lot of shades in her, astonishing me everytime" Ethan thought. Ivan, Sam, Becca, Paul and Aston chuckled at Angel's reactions.

"Enough of this much drama for the day, let's move our asses and enjoy ourselves. First to Food court, my stomach has been grumbling for a while" Sam said changing the topic. "Absolutely, let's go" Jess said jumping forward while pulling Paul. Everyone went to food court. "Mr. Parks we have the tastiest food available here. Infact last year in the fest Jess made us all spend most of our time here, she wouldn't stop eating at all. At last we had to carry her out" Paul said laughing. He was joined by the rest. "Shut up Paul" Jess said embarrassed. "Now stop it all of you, no one's going to annoy my babygirl" Becca butted in hugging Jess. "Oh my my I think you all are forgetting that we are here to eat" Sam said. "Yup. Sam come we'll get food for all. You all have a seat we will be back." Jess said and went with Sam to get food.

Everyone settles down except Ivan. "Ivan why are you not sitting, is there any problem?" Aston asked Ivan who hesitantly looked at Ethan. "You want me to print an invitation for you to sit?" Ethan said to Ivan raising an eyebrow. Fearing Ethan's temper Ivan immediately sits down without speaking a word. "Hmm... Guys I'll go and help them" Paul said getting up. "Ya ya sure, they need your help" Aston said sarcastically hi-fing Becca. They both start laughing seeing Paul run to Jess. "What's happening here? Why are you guys laughing?" Ethan asked confused. "Paul is so dead today. He went to pacify Jess" Becca said. "Why did he do to upset her?" Ethan queried. "Not upset, she's mad at him. Actually Mr. Parks, Angel that girl in cast was the one to play Chala's role in the play but at last minute some mishap happened and Jess had to replace her. Despite Jess warning him he was hell bent on giving the role to Angel. So somewhere he is responsible for all the mess that was created" Aston replied.
